Have bagged up stuff for charity shop and thrown DSs trainers one of which which developed trainer flap (is that right AnWs Mum? That's what your DH called it if I remember...)

Yep trainer flap is the correct term ;):D regret to report I still have trainer flap  but I refuse to pay a fortune for trainers and any time I have seen any I consider the 'right' price they either didn't feel comfy or they didn't have my size.

    :wave:Hi Tia!

Missed you! How's the shop going? Are you moving far? When? Questions, questions!

LOL! Shop is going better than expected! Been so busy though, between college, cash and carry, sorting out planning stuff and the books. But, passed both my biology NABS so far and shop doing well, so all is good.

Moving about.... 200 meters away! To a new 3 bedroom house, nervous and stressed as hell (oh and actually got an offer for someone to buy it off me, before I had actually bought it for more thanm we paid!) we sat in a quewe for 3 days, 5 houses were available and 20 odd folk turned up to get one! Luckily we were number 3 and got the one we wanted. All smug, then stressed about selling this place. Move in date not till May/June, so got plenty time to 1-sell up and 2-save for carpets/blinds/garden.

Inside of car done and Dysoned. The carpet and blankets in the back were damp down one side. No idea where it's come from. It doesn't smell like dog pee. Maybe there was some splash back or something under a wheel arch from one of the many puddles I've driven through recently. The blankets are about to go in the wash but I need to clean the filter first ~sigh~ the last load I put in haven't spun properly ~double sigh~ Oh well, the utility floor will get a surprise wash...

Bum. The filter was beautifully clear. But, it's not spinning - just humming at me as it thinks about it. This is a tragedy!

But then, maybe, I'm just in grumpy old woman mode again this evening! But I don't think I am.
I've been in that for about two years now...I knew I had joined up when I took a pair of school trousers from the sales girl (who had folded them to HER satisfaction) and refolded them to MY satisfaction.
BTW Soappie I have been asked to join a protest group against a proposed incinerator (for waste in polystyrene and meat contaminated plastics among other things). Might need to pick your brains if that's ok.

THis was total trainer flap IYSWIM...came out of footy practise 'slap' 'slap' slap' looked like he was wearing flippers...

    Flight report
I have washed a load and since I heard on the Radio (which is on as is the computer:rolleyes: again) that we (and all those NORTH) are going to have good weather tomorrow I have folded it and will wait patiently to line dry it tomorrow. DS has NOT gone to his dads (being 15 hardly surprising he is beginning to want time to himself) but DD is stopping over so I could go out if I tried to sort something...
Oh have won £25 on a scratchcard!:T It was on one I wouldn't normally buy like the ones my mum buys at new year for the family - we get to choose one so am half tempted to stash it in my bag and flash it at new year for a laugh...
We have a tradition (started by git1 AKA exOH1 not the father of my children) where we give the littleys 'new' money at new year ie recently issued shiny money so it evolved into that for the littleys and a £1 scratchcard which mum buys for the adults. We also get them at Easter.
So Git1 was good for something.
Incidentally I can confirm (recalling behaviour of Git1 that noses don't readily break..mine never did:rolleyes: )

G&B:eek:    glad she's ok...
