Firstly, apologies for not posting for a while, but I went to stay with my mum on Wednesday and Thursday night to keep her company because Dad's away on business, and I didn't have access to a computer for that time. I was online on Tuesday night but I couldn't post due to the site's technical problems. I even typed a post and then found I couldn't post it :mad: . I got home yesterday afternoon but had lots of housework to catch up on, and also had to catch up with this post :eek:

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies. Hugs to anyone that needs them, in particular Lady Liberty. Also CONGRATULATIONS to Pigpen on achieving a new medal for 10, 000 posts _party_

My main aim for today is to do some more Christmas shopping

lil_me, whereabouts in durham do you live? I'm asking because I live in the Northwest, but my dad's family are all in Durham, in particular Darlington and Bishop Auckland. My late grandmother lived in Ferryhill

Sorry for not replying to you earlier but as I explained, techincal difficulties with the site and visiting my mum meant I couldn't. I'm fine thanks. Hubby is also doing really well since starting dialysis :j
