Thanks all. Pink Fairy I wish I could take you up on that but my lower back is tender to the touch at the moment so I'd probably end up shouting at you :rotfl: I now have painkillers and anti-inflammatories to take but I'm not sure if I can take them as I'm still breast feeding, trouble is as my baby is 18 months she didn't ask and I keep forgetting to mention it! I also have an appointment with the doctor who specialises in backs, a warning to do no heavy lifting so the housework can wait (no hoovering either!) and I've been told to watch out in case I start weeing myself as if I do then I have to go back asap before I get a permanent injury!
So in my aching state my plan for the rest of the day is to:
Empty and fill the dishwasher, I'm thinking that'll take me about an hour on and off
Do the washing up in the sink, should be alright as I won't be moving anywhere
Clear the lounge floor, probably 2 or 3 hours on hands and knees going very slowly! Think I'll move all the coats from the sofas (hall is being done so no hanging space) and stick them on a chair in the kitchen, then pick everything up off the floor and put on the sofas...and by then the two big children should be home so they can be my legs and put things away! Well that's the plan :rotfl:
I also have tea to sort out and the two big ones to take to club later as Mr G is working till 3am :rolleyes:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Done OK with todays list but been feeling so grotty with flu' have done nothing this week and now stacks of catching up to do. Must try and not do too much (think thats why having this thing three weeks ago and not totally got over, it's come back again!).

I must resist the voice in my head telling me I've been up for 18 hours and it must, therefore, be wine-a-clock...

Hi Cardiff.... The rule for wine o'clock in the Shattered household is 'when the children are in bed' Now, since you don't have any ( I think, sorry if I'm wrong!) and you've been up forever, and it's Friday, and it's lunchtime, I think it would be rude for it not to be wine o'clock!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm living vicariously... can you tell?! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

Gryfon - hope you get your back sorted out soon.
I had awful sciatica last summer, not been too bad this year. Can your GP make a physio referal?? Might help (although can worsen before improves!).0 -

Hehe... however lunchtime, wine o'clock and tired Tom may very quickly become very tiddled Tom indeed - and it would, of course, be rude to open the bottle and not finish it!
Tea. Must make Tea.
