  • Wow - I won't even tell you how long it has taken for me to catch up with everyone - what a busy lot you are :D

Pigpen - lots of hugs - families are hard work at times:grouphug:

Fed up being poorly - I'm supposed to be going out for lunch with my Mum and friends tonight. Am going to have to cry off as the thought of food makes me feel  It would just be a waste of money - not dfw at all.

Special hugs to Pigpen, Thrifty and Gryf

Just given my new boss a courtesy call to say I'll be in on Monday as scheduled. We had a quick chat. The project sounds very interesting - I'll be getting to set up workstream processes etc. from scratch it seems which will be lovely. He was really rather complementary :o about my skill set and how it was needed there (think I told you I worked with him (but not for him) a year or so ago). So, I'm quite looking forward to the new role.

The two oven side plates are now sparkling and one rack is almost gleaming.

SS sorry to hear your DD is unwell.
Pigpen big hugs and stuff MIL.

Getting on in the livingroom, which hasn't been looked at all week. Folded the bin of clean clothes and all put into each room (must remember to put boys away or they'll put them back in the washing basket). Fires lit and stack of sticks brought in, just having a coffee and then back to LR.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hi everyone,
As you can see a short list today for me. I did take DS down to where there was supposed to be something on for them, but it was not on, and we got all wet!  Still we came back and had some fun playing in his room....toys all over the floor but we will clear them later as he's likely to be playing with them again.
    Happy flying everyone.
    xx

    Afternoon all

It's not raining today but the ground isn't drying up either so it must still be a damp atmosphere out there. Nevertheless I've got two loads of washing out blowing about, including DD's bedding.

Remade her bed. S&Sd bathroom and kitchen. Plumber is coming later to regrout round one tile. We nearly had heart failure last night when we discovered we had no water upstairs but then I remembered seeing two vans down the road with lights blazing and men working so we told ourselves it was a general fault. All back on this morning! Phew!

I've also wrapped the dog's Christmas present and DD1's dog's Christmas present......

Otherwise just pottering. I've done quite a lot this week on and off.

    Hope everything is OK lady-liberty
Hope your DD3 gets well soon Sarah
    Pigpen - families!

Can't think of anyone else, so all the best in general :D
