Beware - Google Street View Is In Uk

I recently had a Google Street View Car taking pictures of my house in Norwich. I am in a private drive and the vehicle was only 3 mtrs away from my front door. It will be an open invitation to burglars and snoopers when Google start to publish these. The government and other agencies will also use it.
Lets get Martin to start a petition to stop this incredible invasion of privacy.
Go to http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/ for the USA site.

Hardly anything more than the 3D rotatable 'birdseye view' aerial photos available on Microsoft maps.

What's it got to do with Martin anyway?

How is it going to help burglars and snoopers?

Oh !!!!!!. It's not as if someone can't already stand in the street and look at your front door, irrespective of your 'private drive', whatever that means. (If your 'private drive' is only 3 meters long then it isn't much of a 'private drive', is it?)

My advice to you would be to go and buy some cider and go back to shouting at post boxes.

Yep. The IRA were hopeless until Google Street View came along.
