Liverbird wrote:Well I certainly haven't heard of anybody getting hundreds of items.
As for your point about taking too many, that your not going to use them, then I agree with you there.
But what harm is there taking enough to spread the happiness around?
You obviously never read some of my previous posts neither did freebie_junkie. I was not getting at anyone on this forum.
I posted about another freebie forum I visit and someone said they had hundred + items and where going back for more, which to me is taking the pee. And they said they where going to be taking them to a carboot sale to sale. That was when I said about drawing a line.
But to help out other people be it friends or family I don't have a problem with. I never did. And yes it is nice to be able to items to just give away and spread a little happiness. Could not agree with you more.
But as I said before taking for the sake because it is free and is something you will not use or be able to give away again is just taking the mick.

I have used 3 to 5 vouchers at a time not spent any money so havent used advantage card. I am also male so none of the products are for me, but I feel great about it. Wife and her friends and both our mums will benefit.
Sorry Calleyw but I disagree with your stance
Again someone else who missed my point totally. I was talking about people gets 100 + items to sale on and not for there own use.
I did say and will say again I have no problems with people getting supplies for friends or family or as presents.
So before replying make sure you read the post and previous post properly.
Oh please another one telling me what the site is about. I do know but there is a fine line between taking advantage of an offer and then taking it to far.

Please?
Anyway, just wanted to say.........I GOT A CANDLE! Whoo hoo. :rotfl: One single solitary yellow candle sitting there all lonely ....there wasn't even a shelf price ticket so I guess it was unwanted in amongst all the other Aromatherapy things there. So I did the decent thing and stuck it in my basket.
Along with a couple of free wipes/exfoliator stuff.
You made me laugh with this. Well done on getting the candle.

Couldn't agree with you more! Taking something to sell at a car boot really is taking the pee and possibly depriving other MSE'rs of stuff.0 -

I agree with Calley on this - I have been reading on other forums how some have been getting HUNDREDS of TD products for free and even one who complained about a sales assistant refusing to let her have more than x amount and getting some points credited on her card as compensation! It's pure greed and it is people like this who boast of getting so many products and how she is planning on selling them at car boots who ruin it for everyone else.0 -
Please try to remember we all don't read the same forums, so don't see the bigger picture.0

Sorry if i missed your point.
I dont think there is anything wrong with anyone getting "hundreds" if they are going to use them or give them away.
I do however have a problem with people getting stuff for free, just to sell on,in fact it makes me very angry.
But and it is a big but who are we to "police" what others do0 -
who on this forum has mentioned carboots?:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
