hi leeannl2003 here again just like to say thanks for the reply but im a bit new at this and i dont know what a sticky is sorry0
-
at the top of the mobile phones section on here it says
Sticky: Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's
sticky means it stays at the top of the posts
from memory i dont think there are any free codes for these
can be done remote here with cable
http://www.remoteunlocker.com/cube/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=3
otherwise it needs direct unlocking by someone with the correct equipment0 -
Hi
I have tried to put my vodafone sim into a V3 (Came with orange). Asks for sim code, which I have entered and it accepted. It then asks for a Subsidy Password, WHAT IS THIS, can anyone help. Dont know much about mobile sim change etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Debra0 -
hi,
"subsidy code" on motorola phones means "network lock", either take it to a shop/market, use a remote server or motorola imei database. a shop or market will be the cheapest, no free codes i'm afraid.

Hi James
Thanks for your help will try https://www.cell-unlock.com. Wasn't sure what subisdy password was. Just found this on an internet search, apparently they can download software and fix via usb cable. Only downside it costs £15.0 -

Yeah £15 is about the going rate to unlock a Motorola (I paid that at my local market)..........there are no codes AFAIAA.You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -
this is a well known motorola unlocking website, and slighty cheaper: http://www.drmoto.net/

Unfortunatley I don't think there is any way to unlock a Motorola V300 for free, I had to get mine unlocked at a mobile shop and it was only £5 - same as it probably is in the market, although I suppose the price may vary according to where you are."To be or not to be......that is the question"

Thanks a lot, will give my local shop a try and hope for the best. Merry Christmas0
