Well, to be fair, they did have the highest interest rate for pretty much their entire existance. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Fortunately, I opened the Egg 6.3% account fixed for 12 months, which permits additional deposits, so mine will be winging its way to Egg.0

I had supposed that the KE accounts would have been transferred over to Ing Direct who seem to be offering 6% (inc the 1st year bonus).
Anyone enquired about this or if there is an easy way of doing this without having to close the LE account and open an Ing one?
Suppose I could always ring up myself, but am in lazy mode. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Haven't read all of the above, but CS have confirmed that the rate has dropped, so my money's out now - must admit, I liked KE CS and chose that account because it wasn't in the passport scheme - am disappointed that it was brought down in an unnecessary frenzy and moved into a passport scheme.
edit - at least they've done it after adding October's interestYou've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -
fixed terms still ok.0

Anyone remember what the minimum balance in KE instant was needed to still hold the FTDs? I'm only a little above £1k in the instant, would like to draw down, but don't want to give ING excuse for breaking my FTDs0
