Mine is showing 4.55% too.

In addition, my FT (opened 27/10 by transfer from existing KE saver) is still there at 7.15%, but the 'break rate' has been changed from 6.15% to 0.00%!!

Looks as if it will have to stay there for the duration........:mad:

Mine still shows 6.36% & I'm still using e-mail address for logging in. Thought this would happen though now it's ING. Like some of the others I closed my ING accounts last year when they were paying a pretty poor rate. They were good rates when they first broke into the UK market, but as Birmingham & Midshires kept showing them up with their rates I switched my money out.
Guess like you others my account with Kaupthing will be closing soon too.

Well I said I wanted to close the account because of the interest rate cut, and she just said 'OK'. So I guess so.

I was planning to close the account at the end of this month/start of next anyway because I need the money and have an Egg one fixed at 6.3% so it makes little difference to me.

is it safe to transfer some of my money in Kaupthing Edge to their fixed rate bond for 12 months as the interest rate is really good if they haven't dropped it yet. Would welcome your opinions.

Mine says "fixed rate offers not available" once I log on. So, it would seem, the answer is no.
Also, my gross rate is now 4.46%. I'm moving my money out!

Mine also says the lower rate, so that's a 2% drop on the instant access. Fixed term offers aren't available either.

I'm still waiting for a bank transfer from my linked account that I sent on 28 October to arrive in KE. Now that the rate has dropped so much I wish I hadn't bothered, I'd probably close the account if I didn't have a FTD with them.

Just to further confirm mines dropped to 4.55%
