OK so second part of post is valid one then, by letter of DSA the return timeframe expired midnight of 20th, which isn't anything they hadn't already said. Any luck on teh insurance part?
  • no luck with that either, looks like I am stuck with this phone and contract for 18 months now. For anyone thinking of buying a razor V3 phone, bit of advice...don't!

To be fair, my gf has the razor and loves it. She has had it 11 months now and when the contract runs out she wants to keep it. She doesn't use the camera (which is rubbish, I admit!!!) so it suits her needs!!!

Couldn't you get a cheap digital camera cyprusbabe and then e-mail photos??

  • yes, I will do, this phone won't send picture messages (another bug bare) even though it is supposed to. The salesman told me the camera was great.....good salesman lol. I had a Sony Erricson K500i before, ah how I miss it!

If the saleman told you that it would send messages, and you have found out that it won't, then this is misrepresentation and you would be entitled to revoke the contract.
  • I will see what they say to my letter I sent recorded delivery. Getting no where on the phone with them.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck
  • Thank you to everyone for your help.
  • I wrote to Orange saying I was mis sold the phone and could we come to an amicable agreement and had a letter back saying basically 'tough'
I went to CISAS and asked what I could do now, they told me to get in touch with Orange and ask for a reference number so they could liase with them.
I rang Orange and asked them for a reference number and now they are sending me a jiffy bag to collect the phone and I get to change phones to one that suits me,they even apologied for all the trouble I had had to go to! Not sure why CISAS rung horror with them but it worked.
    Hurray!
