My fave wipes from Boots - by far - are the Botanics ones.......don't have any left now though - we need another glitch on them! :rotfl:

    ;)

Those are fab! I think my favorites are the no7 quick thinking wipes, but right behind that are the botanics sensitive skin wipes and the olay daily facials sensitive wipes. But I definitely think none of them are worth the full price, which is fine because I've never paid full price for them, lol.

Could have sworn i posted this before I went for the school run, but can't see it now  .

Are you able to return gift sets? I've got a few too many Mediteranean Hand Cream ones and can't decide whether to chance my luck returning or stockpile for future.

    Would rather return!

    Thanks

If you've got the receipt and the items are clearly unopened and unused, you should be able to get a refund with no problem. Without the receipt, you can exchange them for other items.
  • Can't you return what you bought from the store and keep the .com order as it is?

Hi no its actually 2 items that were OOS tho I bought 1 instore as I needed it. In all, the 2 items take my total spend down to about £20 odd. Thanx anyway

Has anyone actually tried the ROC wipes that you can get with a blue voucher for 99p??

I do not really have sensitive skin but these wipes burn. Not sure if it is just me, but I just thought I would tell you guys to be careful if you havent used them before.

I would definately try them before stock piling them!!

No its not just you they do sting your face although they still work for me and havent had any lasting effects up to now but I dont intend buying very many even at 99p. As someone else suggested i think they will probably clean the loo very well though I havent tried them yet. Im not going to try to get many of these blueys as I noticed any good deals to use them on with very little spend.

On another note I had to return 2 tan maintainers this week as I am pickled in a red rash, tried it a few months ago and then retried it again 2 weeks ago so it was definitely the maintainer causing the problem. Was able to select goods in store up to £10 which was quite a good deal as when they were purchased I paid £5 plus a pinky and got a gwp.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking we should all go for the under £7.98 mix and match gift x 1 if getting the razors as it leaves more on the shelves for other bootsers so more people can take advantage of this glitch:D

    So doing...

    2 x razors @ £7.99 each
1 x Xmas mix and match...say £7.00?(as long as cheaper than original price of razor)
    £22.98

    - £7.00 till deducts 3 for 2
    - £8.00 (2 x £4) Half price precision offer
    £7.98 to pay

Sure that is by far a more appealing deal anyway

This worked for me this morning and I agree, a much better way to do it :D I got 2 x razors and a box of gorgeous xmas cards @ £5.00 (I know I could have done "better" by buying a more expensive 3rd item, but I really wanted these cards!) = £7.98 to pay.

Also finally got a No7 Compact Mirror (not exactly very compact though are they?!) but the 250pts vch from the men's GWP beeped on it, but the lovely SA added the points manually because she agreed with me that it did say "any No7 item" ;)

A whole shelf full of the Botanics sets @ £1.95 in the Precinct store in Coventry. I bought 2 but there were at least 15 left :)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

  • Can somebody please help me.

I have a voucher for mens N0.7 it says chose any item from mens range for half price. My local has a gift set - previoulsy a free gift wys - its £6.50 i think. Went to checkout and cashier said i couldnt use it as i needed to buy one item - one goft set - one item - refused to scan it for me. Can it be used on these ? doesnt say anything on terms & conditions.

Also what Razor is on the 342 glitch - looked last night and the wilkinsons were showing as half price only.

I love the botanics sensitive wipes too:) I think they are on offer at the moment at 1.99

do you remember the botanics wipes in the dark green packaging years ago? they were like sand paper. Really nasty things they were. I got some with a glitch. They nearly took the skin off my face:eek:

anyone seen the S&G sets in central London?

Most stores won't let you use a voucher on the former no7 gwps that they put on sale.
  • does anyone know what these look like? or what i should be looking out for

    what is s & g and gwp

    Hiya and welcome.

S&G is Soap & Glory, sold in Boots, and most of the products smell gorge

GWP is Gift with Purchase. You sometimes get a free gift if you spend a certain amount on a particular brand.
