Can you return gift sets to boots? I've bought 3 Meditteranean Hand sets but now realised I've bought other things as well which were meant for the same people. Would they have them back do you think (bought from .com)
ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Thanks pollsdoll I don't consider the .com sale as I have only recently started buying from .com!
I always forget about it. 342 does not generally happen in shops at sale time, BUT as several other posters have said, its up to the individual shop what they do!

I've had a quick look on both threads and I can't find the link to florist place that's good for baskets......can anyone help?
I'm truely poor at the moment so I may have to forget this idea and buy some reaaally cheap gifts bags with tissue paper but I'm hoping there's some cheap options........
If anyone has any other creative ideas on how to gift lots of bits and bobs together then please let me know!
Hiya
I've put my MIL, BSTF& SIL gifts into a Cath Kidston for tesco christmas bags, scrunched tissue over the top of the gifts and wrapped them in cellophane (I popped a piece of card board in the bottom first to stop it toppling over) For the smaller gift hampers (!) I am trying to get hold off some plain hessian bags to do the same kind of thing. I'd like to tie them with gingham ribbon, cinnamon sticks and a piece of holly. Parcel tag for a gift label. I know i've seen hessian bags somewhere cheap........but my brain won't let me remember where :rotfl:

I'd recommend this seller, they are reasonably priced and deliver quickly as well.

Hi Everyone
Tried to search in case someone else had asked this question. If I put a half price No 7 item in my basket i.e. manicure set it shows £29.99 less £15 = £14.99 and shows the gwp (even though I haven't spent £20). Will I still get it?
Also has anyone ever purchased Imagin 7" digital photo frame which is half price and if so, is it any good?
Thanks:hello:0 -

I have just bought some fab baskets from dunelm mill for £1.49 each - big enough to fit 5 x no7 mens items, the GWP, a razor and a pack of blades all wrapped in cleear cellophane which I got from a local shop at about 50p for two metres or you can get it in hobbycraft:)
Think - from memory - they are about 9inches x five inches - ish!!!
Lovely dark brown with cotton lining for the men and white with gingham lining for the laydees:D
I am also going to put some things in hat boxes which have lids and then they can be used for storage after christmas and is an alternative to baskets.0 -
After a hard weekend working I headed out to Boots with a Skin Care voucher as I need some Time Delay. I picked up some of the Radiance Booster in a gold box for £6.99 and went to the No 7 till. The snooty perma tanned lady put it through and it beeped . She read the voucher and said it only can be used on certain types of Time delay one of which is Mature skin. I said that I would not bother and went to take it back. When I looked all the gold packeted items are on a shelf marked with a Mature Skin banner. So I went back and tried again. She called over another SA who was quite snotty with me and I said I was fed up with Boots giving out vouchers and then trying to stop people using them. She said " But I am putting it through for you!!!" in a stroppy voice. After I got it for £1.99 I insisted the assistant came to look at thje shelf. However all the items with Mature Skin written on the second line were on the shelf above. I said if the shelf says Mature Skin then they should honour the voucher. I was mnade to feel really small by her and I think a letter to Head Office is called for. Also this particular store removed their reduced shelf a few weeks ago to make way for Xmas stock but when I was there a few nights ago a lady had a basket full of reduced no 7 ( I think she was either staff or the family of a staff member judging by the way they were all chatting to her). So I asked another member of staff about reduced items and she said they were not allowed to sell anything like that over Xmas. Should I mention this in me letter aswell? I am still looking for S & G sets and would be grateful if anybody can tell me if there are any in Bristol?
Hiya rose i had a look in broadmead and bedminster on Sat no sign of any soap & glory sets HTh0 -

I'm filling R&M, Ted Baker and Natural Collection makeup bags with my bits. Been doing this for DDs friends' birthdays and feedback is that DDs friends all agree they give the bestest presents.0
