Just a word of warning the 342 offer if you buy similar priced items works out at 33% (plus all the points you get at the moment with the great deals)

the first Boots sale is 50% off (no extra points vouchers/codes usually) - if there is something you want desperately - grab it in this sale, but really 50% isn't much better than 33% discount which is basically what the 342 is (especially if you take the extra points into consideration on the current 342).

The second Boots sale in January is 75% off but limited items in stock, so don't have a huge list and hope to get it all, its basically if you see it and get it thats great, DON'T have you heart set on something as it is just a bonus if it is in the sale. Typically Sanctuary sets are not in this sale in my big Boots - don't know about elsewhere?

Hope that helps all those looking forward to their first Boots sale! I can't WAIT - its about my fifth, but my third as a serious bootser !!

Altrincham had the razors today, only thing is my boss and colleauges wanted them too so 9 have gone through my advantage card today. I'm worried now the points police will spot it and I've managed to flag myself up by trying to help people at work!

good boots trip today, got 3 razors for £3.98, some botanics sets for £1.95 No S&gs at any of the Norwich stores but a hole shelf of the botanics that still had a SEL of £6

Anyone else in norfolk ??

Just another comment about the after-Christmas sales -- it seems like you can't count on things to get marked down at all stores, it's up to the store to decide whether or not to take a markdown. I'm assuming all of them mark things down by 50% after Christmas, but I know at my store and several others there were some things that didn't get marked down further. (Or if they did, the store didn't discount it again until they went to 90% off, at which point things magically disappeared from the shelves -- other local bootsers had told me they'd seen employees having a field day before, so maybe that's what happened, and I did see some very nice items tucked behind counters that were no longer on the shelves). So just be prepared to find that something you are holding out to buy until it's 75% off may not go down to that at your store.

Hi everyone, nipped into Boots today and the Botanics sets were back up to £4.95 :eek: . Didn't bother price checking so don't know what's going on there.

I only bought a gel eye mask for my tired eyes. I paid on the ss tills and as I was walking away the sa went straight over and started typing loads of numbers in :eek: , my boyfriend was waiting for me with our dd and even he said why has she just done that! I think there was another ss till free so I hope she wasn't checking up on me!!! But then I got thinking, the worst I've ever done is use a pinkie and till spit at the same time, so do you think that is enough to get my card taken away? I'm probably just being paranoid but I like to be prepared in case the boots police are on to me! They won't know what's hit them if try to take my precious card away :rotfl:
