The SEL at my store said £4.95 then in red it said £3.00 off, hence the £1.95. When it went through the till it said £4.95, SA checked with another SA, who said it should show as £1.95 on the receipt, which it did. HTH.

There was also a Microdermabrasion Kit thing which looked quite posh, but was unsure as to what it is, half price or something it said.

I have no idea what a microdermabrasion kit is either!

No, I can't stand that band! They totally suck. I actually pinched it off Solange Knowle's Sandcastle Disco. I was on my way to BOOTS last Saturday. She says "You're an old school dude with a kick on your shoes, you got groove in your hands the way you spin those tunes", I thought I would change a few bits and tadah! LOL. I'm bonkers I know. Anyway, back to BOOTSing!

Was just gonna let the ladies know about the Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium Precision Razor. I know some of you got the No 7 Compact Trimmer to do whatever ladies do with them, and I'm sure some of you said they were really pants! Why don't you get one of the Wilkinson Sword Razors. One side has the razor bit, and the other side has like a little trimmer, it's like a mini hair cutting machine, and by mini I mean MINI! You could use this to do what ladies do with whatever they do it with? It uses a battery which is included in the pack and I think it's quite good actually. At the end of the day, if you think it's pants too, it's only £1.33 you have lost and you can use the razor side to shave whatever ladies shave or give it your husband/boyfriend so he can use the razor bit, or just bin it, it's only £1.33?

They were at the back of the shop on the top shelf above the other s&g items.
    Hope that helps.

    Whatcha!

I've had a quick look on both threads and I can't find the link to florist place that's good for baskets......can anyone help?

I'm truely poor at the moment so I may have to forget this idea and buy some reaaally cheap gifts bags with tissue paper but I'm hoping there's some cheap options........

If anyone has any other creative ideas on how to gift lots of bits and bobs together then please let me know!

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Just thinking ahead to the sale and as a new bootster was wondering when the sale starts are the gift sets still 3 for 2?

I have never found the 342 instore during the sales. But I did get 342 on some items in the 75% online sale.

I have just checked my confirmation emails for the 75% online sale. I got 342 on:-
    • No 7 The Ultimate nail set (was £18 - paid £4.50 & 342)
    • No 7 Compact mirror with pouch.(was £8 - paid £2 &342)
Both orders were delivered complete, with no cancellations. Other items that had been 342 prior to Christmas were not 342 in the sale. So it is obviously selected items only. So Jamtart6 is right. If you really want something get it while you can, as you don't know what will be left over for the sales.

After a hard weekend working I headed out to Boots with a Skin Care voucher as I need some Time Delay. I picked up some of the Radiance Booster in a gold box for £6.99 and went to the No 7 till. The snooty perma tanned lady put it through and it beeped . She read the voucher and said it only can be used on certain types of Time delay one of which is Mature skin. I said that I would not bother and went to take it back. When I looked all the gold packeted items are on a shelf marked with a Mature Skin banner. So I went back and tried again. She called over another SA who was quite snotty with me and I said I was fed up with Boots giving out vouchers and then trying to stop people using them. She said " But I am putting it through for you!!!" in a stroppy voice. After I got it for £1.99 I insisted the assistant came to look at thje shelf. However all the items with Mature Skin written on the second line were on the shelf above. I said if the shelf says Mature Skin then they should honour the voucher. I was mnade to feel really small by her and I think a letter to Head Office is called for. Also this particular store removed their reduced shelf a few weeks ago to make way for Xmas stock but when I was there a few nights ago a lady had a basket full of reduced no 7 ( I think she was either staff or the family of a staff member judging by the way they were all chatting to her). So I asked another member of staff about reduced items and she said they were not allowed to sell anything like that over Xmas. Should I mention this in me letter aswell? I am still looking for S & G sets and would be grateful if anybody can tell me if there are any in Bristol?

    Try these

    http://www.floralessential.co.uk/acatalog/Baskets.html?gclid=CInHqISO1pUCFQ6T1QoduBTvYg

Also, Morrisons have some lovely rectangular (seagrass maybe?) ones at the minutes, dark and with hinged lids, small are 99p and medium are £1.99

The reason I keep bootsing is for xmas hampers/baskets and I've got a room full but it's all too pretty to give away! I want it all!!! :o :rotfl:
