Could have sworn i posted this before I went for the school run, but can't see it now  .

Are you able to return gift sets? I've got a few too many Mediteranean Hand Cream ones and can't decide whether to chance my luck returning or stockpile for future.

    Would rather return!

    Thanks

  • Morning All I hope someone can help. I placed an order on .com  on Friday and spent approx £78. After I checked the order history it then said 2 of the items were OOS. So I went into Boots on Saturday and bought 1 of the items. Got my Order Despatched email last night and its saying the items are all in stock. Thing is, if I take back the item from the .com order with Delivery note, what happens to the extra points as I had used a code for over £75 spend and there was an extra 1500 points on an over £75 spend as the item will take £20 off the order taking it below the minimum spend IYSWIM  TIA

    .com is at it again.

I ordered last week, a total of £78, which included 2 Ted Baker, on my ted sets.

Called customer care today as my order history said these sets were out of stock, told operator that if the ted baker sets were not available, I would like to cancel the order. The operator agreed that she would cancel the order as it was still showing as being processed as it would probably not arrive anyway as it is due to be delivered tomorrow and hadn't even been allocated to a packer.

Bought 2 more gifts on my way home (to replace the ted baker sets), and guess what..... I come home to an e-mail saying that the money has been deducted from my account and the order has been despatched.

My fear now is that they stop the order being delivered tomorrow and keep the money anyway:eek: )

oh dear, oh dear. I had resigned myself to not getting the ted baker sets (or the 3 chocolate slabs!!)and now they may arrive afterall:confused::confused:

sorry for rambling, just a bit sick of .com.

Sorry to hear of your nightmare...its silly this new .com lark...but my feeling is you will probably get your order and payment will be taken unless they don't have the sets in stock now, in which case you may get the rest of your order and a refund for the sets iyswim? Just how I think it will work, as to be honest...from my experience and looking at other peoples, I don't think I've seen a successful order cancellation yet

On a plus point, my refund went in yesterday :)

Also geordie lass was right I order my baskets online and got some nice ones, but I ordered 3 and with delivery it was £8.xx so may not be the cheapest :o whoever was asking though, wilkinsons seem to always have some nice cheap baskets in :)

I was gonna mention this too. They seem the same as the Sanctuary ones, very strong and tingle on my skin too. I thought I would use the ROC ones as moist wipes for the loo, but NEVER AGAIN, I was in pain! What do they put in them, bleach? Ooooh Nelly! I have 3 x packets, might as well just use them when cleaning the kitchen or when glamming up mucky shoes/trainers or something?

Oh Mimi, you are soooooo funny. This had me in absolute stitches :rotfl: xx
I have also bad bad reaction to these wipes but the worse ones for me are the no7 blue packet they burned my skin off then my face was covered in scabs  and it was very painful. I just use old fashioned soap and water now dont want to risk it.
I would also like to thank whoever posted the razor glitch i needed 6 for my christmas hampers so got 3 yesterday with a few other bits the SA kept looking at me then the till then back to me thought oh no here we go she started explaining what the till was doing so played dumm and asked if i could run back and get the last 3 on the shelve so ended up with my 6 :T
The SA was gob smacked and said she was keeping it quite so she could bag load when they came back in store.

Just to say those S & G gwp sets are still out there. Got 3 4 2 yesterday. Used points so didn't get bluey, but have enough creams to last the year now!

when I was there a few nights ago a lady had a basket full of reduced no 7 ( I think she was either staff or the family of a staff member judging by the way they were all chatting to her). So I asked another member of staff about reduced items and she said they were not allowed to sell anything like that over Xmas. Should I mention this in me letter aswell? I am still looking for S & G sets and would be grateful if anybody can tell me if there are any in Bristol?

I wouldn't complain about this as it's one of the few perks of working in retail (that and staff discount of course!) I worked in a clothes store for 2 years and we used to always keep faulty leather handbags, clothes and good sale items behind for ourselves. (FYI within reason, you couldn't have the whole shop behind the till!) I know it seems unfair but it's the staff who have to work ridiculous hours over Christmas (we used to work until 11/midnight on Christmas Eve then 9am on Boxing Day) to get the sale prepared :)

There were S&G gwp in Cardiff Queen Street the other week if you ever come here? :)

Has anyone actually tried the ROC wipes that you can get with a blue voucher for 99p??

I do not really have sensitive skin but these wipes burn. Not sure if it is just me, but I just thought I would tell you guys to be careful if you havent used them before.

I would definately try them before stock piling them!!

It's not just you, they burned my face and eyes when I tried them months ago. I took it back and exchanged it, there was no problem when I explained I'd had a reaction. I also never have tried any other Roc products after that!
