Thanks,I brought 2 the other day and didn't even think they might be 3 for 2 tilI got home, but thanks for confirming they aren't so I didn't miss out phew.

Hmm mens fashion I'm not sure,I see a lot of men wearing grey jumpers and cardigans lately!

I don't think they were actually on the 3 4 2 stand, just below them, maybe that's why they didn't work. Mind you, I still thought I got a bargain. Think I will use one for myself. LOL. See if it gives me more spots. The No 7 for Anti Shine Lotion and Face Scrub worked wonders for me for a week, and then surprise, got hordes of spots so flung them both in the bin! Can you take opened stuff back without a receipt if it's giving you problems?

I'll have to go clothes shopping sometime this week. I need a personal shopper, anyone? Help moi!

Got my first Xmas gift ready. Meeting one of my friends this week. Brown (Boots) gift bag filled with a No 7 for Men wash bag (last GWP), a big box of chocolates (not sure which kind), and a Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium razor thing. Woohoo.

It was fun trying to explain to my nephew and niece that I do not use ladies cosmetics that are stacked up in my room. They were like ARE YOU SURE? LOL. Bet they go home and tell their Mom who will have a laugh at me on the phone.

    Have fun petals and flowers.

Yes - you certainly can. One of the SAs was explaining that to a customer who had had a reaction to a product, but hadn't thought that they could take it back because it was opened.

I guess they need to know if people have issues - it might be a rogue batch - or you might be a sensitive little flower!

    Hi Skibster:hello:,

I've tried the Bach Rescue Remedy soothing Pastilles- bought them a few months ago to get me through my driving test! They don't have a particularly strong taste and they do not taste like a medicine (hate the taste of Rescue Remedy itself :p) Tbh not sure how much of it was pyschological but they did the job! Think £4.99 is a bit of a rip off to be honest- I bought them in a set along with some Rescue Remedy cream and a little wooden massager thing for £8. Can't find this on .com but worth a look instore. When I bought them they were on 3 for 2, so may be worth waiting for a decent offer to come up!

    HTH

I think the Bach Rescue Remedy set may be included in the Xmas 3 4 2? Also, could the £2 healthcare voucher be used against Rescue Remedy products?

What is your budget?? I got some Babyliss Pro 230s a couple of months ago and they were on an offer down to £40 ish (i think) from £60/£70. As far as i know they have regular offers on these and they are absolutely fab at straightening my hair, so quick and almost effortless. Thats what i would recommend hth x
I just last week got Boots £9.99 straighteners - ceramic and go to
200 degrees and they're doing the job fine! (wasn't gonna spend oodles on them with xmas round the corner - I live in hope of my OH taking the broad hints I drop and getting me the GHDs ;) )

Thanks a lot for the advice, going to Boots shortly so will be looking out for these two :)
  • Argos has got the babyliss one for a few pounds cheaper if you are not planning on using points. ;) I've got one too and would really recommend it.

Has any tried the Bach Rescue Remedy Soothing pastilles? They are at Boots for 4.95. I was thinking of trying these.
:hello: Hi Skibster. These are really good and seem to do the job! As someone else said, the Rescue Remedy Everyday Calm gift set is currently on 3 4 2 and is £10. It contains an eye mask, 30 rescue pastilles and 30ml day cream. All info pinched from page 103 of Boots Chrimbo mag! HTH.
    :p
  • Back on topic though, does anyone know if Boots do any nice soothing creams? I have devloped a bit of a rash on my legs (ooo-er...no not that kinda thing) I think it might be either stress or heat related? Any cheapo recommendations would be grand :)
:hello: Hi Mrsbluebear! I've always found good old Sudocrem to be the best at clearing up spots, heat rashe and obviously nappy rash! Not saying that's what you've got on your legs though! :rotfl: I think it's around £2.50 a pot, so nice and cheap! HTH

Also, does anyone know when the next TS starts and what it will be? I may wait to try them to use it to get the next ts, lol

Skibster, have you tried the origins sensory therapy range? The on the spot relief (£10) is great for when you feel stressed or tense, and i also use it when i feel a headache coming on as an alternative to painkillers sometimes. It smells great and gives a cooling, tingling sensation which is really relaxing. They also do a pack of mints for £4 which are good as well, although not as effective as the on the spot relief.

Saw some reduced Balm Balms - the pink one this time (rose and geranium?). They were 75p down from £2.99. the barcode is 5 060096 550129.

Also saw some of the boots shaper snack bars reduced to 24p and some boots chewing gum (sugar free orange and mango) down to 25p. Was also some random crisps reduced to about half price.
