I know exactly what you mean and that is way I always come on here to share my Bootsing woes - my OH sounds eactly like yours!! I was hoping that he would grow out of it but it appears it may only get worse with age :rotfl:

I think it is so nice that we all have a common interest and can not only share our bargains but also support each other when the same bargains ago a bit la la on us :)

Back on topic though, does anyone know if Boots do any nice soothing creams? I have devloped a bit of a rash on my legs (ooo-er...no not that kinda thing) I think it might be either stress or heat related? Any cheapo recommendations would be grand :)

    TIA

Am I allowed to mention non Boots stuff on here...;)? If you have a Lush near you, their Dream Cream would do the trick, I should think. If you ask nicely, they should give you a sample to try it.

Have you tried Aqueous cream? That is quite soothing but then again, it depends what exactly the rash is as to how you treat it. There is a write up about it in the Daily Mail today http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1085935/Empty-bathroom-cabinet--3-99-cream-does-EVERYTHING.html

be warned though, demand is quite high at the mo and it is currently out of stock in the warehouse (although it shouldn't be for long). Best to ring ahead. There are 3 types, 2 of them are 500g pots (1 that the dispensary use (like the one in the picture on the article) and 1 they have on the shelf (both £3.99), slightly different packaging) and a smaller tube size 100g (£2.25 IIRC). They also do it in a squirty bottle, 200ml for £4.49.

If your not sure what the rash is, have a word with the Pharmacist.

    Hi,

I went to kingston yesterday morning about 9.30am looking for these, and they didn't have any on the main S&G stand or the stand by the meal deal/food. Can you please tell me where you found them today?

there were loads this afternoon on the S&G stand near the meal deal stuff again. there was a stand with the razors on just a couple of aisles up towards the tills, there were lots left. HTH
  • Good evening all
Just planning out my shops for tommorow and wondering if anyone can help me with a query?

I noticed on the first page of this thread that the Umberto Giannini prods were 2 for £6.00 (did get some the otherday), however I'm finding it impossible to find the UG spa rituals brightning plus hair elixir on .com. Wanted to see if it was still available in the deal.

    Many thanks
    Aggie
    :j

The £6.00 deal is still on the UG Spa Rituals, but only in store, not online.

    HTHs

Sorry just realized someone has already answered your query!

This week we received a pack from Nikon. They are holding a promotion in conjunction with Boots regarding their digital camera range.

Simply buy any Nikon Coolpix camera and a digital photo frame (any make/model) in the same transaction and Nikon will send you a cheque for the cost of the frame, up to a maximum value of £50, within 28 days. Offer ends 31/12/08

The cheapest camera we have instore is £99.99 for the Coolpix S210 http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=117816&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

We also have a couple of digital frames for under £50, so these would be free, or you can always get a better model and claim £50 back towards the cost (e.g. the new Kodak 'touch' frames, at £55 for 7", it would only cost you a fiver!) http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryParentId=3641&storeId=10052&categoryId=6535

If your interested in the offer and cannot see it displayed, ask at the photo counter for more info. All stores which stock cameras should have received a pack.

Forgot to mention, as your buying the digital frame there and then, then claiming the money back from Nikon, you'll still earn points on the cost of the digital frame! Buy the Nikon S210 and Kodak P720 frame together. Total cost £154.98, claim the £50 back so it will really cost £104.98. Buy them on the Advantage Card evening and you'll get over £30 back in points! :)
