  • Hi all
I am just trying to plan ahead a little and my memory is not working, can someone help- with Boots january sale, does it start at 50% off and then go to 75% or just straight in at 75%? and are there any big boots stores in the Bristol/exeter/plymouth area with a large toy section? saving my points for the sale!!
Hope that makes sense and thanks everyone!
Oh one more thing- .com sale, is it the same as in store?
    TIA

Yeah, I'm not ruling out doing this as no money has actually gone into my account yet, so still may have to chase them for it...I hope not but with CS you never know... I am gonna wait till Monday to see if the refund turns up in my account, if not it will be mega-whinge monday for CS and the Head of CS

    Hi MrsBB

Glad your order turned up but sorry your having so much trouble. At least you got a helpful SA (see, we do exist peeps!)

It can take a few days for a refund to appear on your account, however, if they have seeked authorisation from your bank for the refund, (don't ask me why this is done as at the end of the day it's money going back into your account!) then usually it would appear on your 'available balance' more or less straight away.

e.g. if your balance was £50 yesterday and they wanted to refund £50 back on to your card today, your available balance might show £100 (assuming there was no overdraft) but it might not actually show up as a transaction until maybe tues/wed.

Hope you get it sorted xx

starts at 50%, then 75%, then 90% off. Although this is only going by what has happened in previous years. Who's to say it will happen this year?

can't remember .com but someone will remember on here! (although I think it's the same)

Hi can anyone tell me if the balm balm's are still reduced or are they back to full price, I have just decided I like them and if they are still reduced I will stock up on them when I go shopping tomorrow, many thanks :)

were full priced when I tried recently. I know it depended on the barcode but I recognised which one from style but it came up as £2.99! this was the blue one which I've got for reduced before when not marked as reduced.

Also, does anyone know if they do comments and suggestions slips? I have had 3 SA's that always show excellent customer service and I want to let BOOTS know about this. Thanks.

Random customers get till spits that are a survey (it gives you a code to use to do one online), though some pharmacies have slips laying on the counter (think that is only for pharmacy workers). I have a till-spit survey that I haven't used yet because I'm a bit paranoid -- afraid if I give them my boots card number to enter the contest for points, they will look at my transactions and see how many mags I've gotten or some such, lol. You don't have to give them the ad card, though. If you want it, pm me and I'll send you the info.

Yeah the SA was great, he was so nice and lovely - will defo give him a mention to store manager next time I'm in store :)

At the moment, nothing is showing at all - its not in my available balance at all....but I'm still hopeful it will go in soon - either hopeful or stupid  :rotfl:

    thanks hunni :)

  • Good evening all
Just planning out my shops for tommorow and wondering if anyone can help me with a query?

I noticed on the first page of this thread that the Umberto Giannini prods were 2 for £6.00 (did get some the otherday), however I'm finding it impossible to find the UG spa rituals brightning plus hair elixir on .com. Wanted to see if it was still available in the deal.

    Many thanks
