:hello: Hi Skibster. These are really good and seem to do the job! As someone else said, the Rescue Remedy Everyday Calm gift set is currently on 3 4 2 and is £10. It contains an eye mask, 30 rescue pastilles and 30ml day cream. All info pinched from page 103 of Boots Chrimbo mag! HTH.[/quote]

Cool, I'll look for that! Any idea if it is located in the health section near the pharmacy, or if it would be with the 342 Xmas gifts?

Yes - you certainly can. One of the SAs was explaining that to a customer who had had a reaction to a product, but hadn't thought that they could take it back because it was opened.

I guess they need to know if people have issues - it might be a rogue batch - or you might be a sensitive little flower!

I won't get accused of pinching them or anything will I? I no longer have my receipt and that's the only thing that is putting me off.

I think I am probably a very sensitive little flower, any products cause havoc on my face. Guess I will just have to use water. Boohoo.

Reduced crisps are my favourite, I think I bagged about 25 packs of Shapers that were reduced to 10p, and managed to gobble the whole lot of up in 2 days. Go me. I love crisps. Mmmm.

Also, think other people have asked, anything bargain-licious going around that can be used with the £2 BLUE vouchery thing? I have about 10 which will all get binned if nothing special comes up.

worked twice on Thurs, different stores, no problems. One store did not have the half price sel on, but it still went thru the till as 1/2 price and 342
I think someone on here got some yesterday.
Maybe one or two 'cover' items wouldn't go amis to stop the SA looking too closely!

Don't think anyone opens before 9am or 10am on Boxing Day!

Yes, but I said the .com sale started at 5 am. I read on here, in a previous post, that the .com sale, on the Internet, started at 5 am, and people had been setting their alarms, so as not to miss it.

For all Bootsers returning stuff to store............ this may be helpful!

I was refused a refund on a Boots.com order, so I emailed CS. I took their reply back to the store, and then they miraculously remembered how to process the refund!;)

Thank you for contacting us about returning items from a boots.com order to one of our stores.

All but the very smallest corner chemist stores (including our Alliance chemist stores) should be able to process a refund for a Boots.com order. If you would be so kind as to let us know which store you went to, I can check for you and we can contact the store on your behalf. I am most sorry for any inconvenience caused to you.

Thank you for letting us know about this. Please contact me again via email or on 0845 6090055.

Thanks for posting this Minx. The problem is they have now taken away the email facility, forcing us to ring. Their email response was never great but at least it was free. Now we have to rely on a letter or a premium rate phone call.

I very rarely ever ring them now unless if the amount involved is significantly higher than the cost of the call. But I suppose that's why they have discontinued the email.

For such a big company, I think it is poor customer service not to have a email contact facility. Plus we now cannot get anything in writing any more.

  • Hiya,

Just wanted to post and say thanks to you all. Once again I've come away from boots with me bargains. Used some of my blueys for some of the roc wipes and olay heat thingy. They had the Umberto G spa rituals £9.99 - got them on the 2 for £6.00 - so chuffed - got 4 in two sep transactions and got 2 more blueys (see, I'm learning). Also managed to get a 17 GWP with a few stocking fillers for DD.
