I used the men's wrinkle de-crease and didn't notice any improvement to fine lines after about 6 weeks.

I sent it to the manufacturers for a refund and they graciously sent me £5. Bleedin' cheek seeing it was going for £11 in Boots!

I wonder if that means that £5 is what the manufactuer charges stores, and then Boots put the price up by £6? I wouldn't be surprised, as they obviously *heavily* overprice things so they can have "sales". I swear, I don't see why anyone who isn't Bootsing would actually pay full price for the majority of items in that store.

Just an update on the on-going mrs bb .com order...

    [snipped...]
By the time that saga is resolved mrs bb, the items will probably be showing as 75% off in the January sales ;)

Liverbird - There's some shops and houses I pass that still have last years lights and inflatables up :rotfl:

jacquih1 - They're worth keeping for now. We bought some reduced Beechams All in One stuff yesterday for £2.50 for instance, but only bought one. The SA seemed to be saying that if we'd have met the £8 limit on those healthcare items, they'd have gone through as reduced and with the ts too, iyswim? Not a massive saving unless you need the stuff though :) hth

No, I went back to my Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. Those vibrator razors just cut my whole face up. I thought I was gonna pop my clogs when I used it, I was bleeding and bleeding some more. Maybe you will have to come and show me how to shave with the vibrator razor thing? :D:D
    Cheeky! :p

Well, with the Fusion Power, you should be gently stroking the razor over the skin (no need to apply firm pressure) while stretching the skin. Rinse the blade after every stroke.

If you get lots of spots after shaving (which will bleed next time), you may have an acne-like skin infection (name escapes me) and a trip to the doc for some antibiotics is needed.
It's my arms and legs that are dry, my face is fine, that never dries up and neither to my big busty lips as I have my tub of Vaseline handy at all times.

Tell me about it!! Humph....got more headache and stress from this then anything else..which I could do without as stressed enough with starting my first placement on Monday. To be honest if they both turn up today I feel like refusing to accept delivery, but then knowing my luck I still wouldn't be refunded for them:rolleyes:

Anyway, a bit of a thick question. Is the Soap and Glory stuff meant to be for women or are men allowed to use it too? I do have quite dry skin as of late, and after reading the information on the pots and tubes and what not, I think it would quite work for me. I've tried Johnsons and Nivea and you name it, nothing seems to work for me. Thing is Soap and Glory smells OTT and very floral/ladylike, I don't want to smell like a butterfly princess. Shall I or shall I not? LOL.

As much I find the s&g stuff to be fun, it's not the best for really dry skin. I'd recommend the shea butter body butter at the body shop, aqueous cream at Boots, or good ol' Palmer's Cocoa Butter products (also sold at Boots). A male friend of mine was having severely dry and chapped hands, and the thing that works best for him is the Palmer's. It's not too pricey, either, and I may have seen a voucher about for it? Maybe someone else can tell you, I ignored it as I don't need anymore creams right now, lol.

Other posters have had problems with returning orders to stores which do not stock the products they are returning. However it is a case of finding an SA who knows how to refund it I think. If you have problems in the store then stand your ground, and ask them to call customer services and to sort it out amongst themselves lol.
Can't believe they have managed to charge you for both orders!! I hope at least one of them does turn up so at least you can give your friend their present tomorrow.
In terms of paying with paypal- other people have just said "oh and you'll need the card I paid with" and just handed over any old card lol, and most of the time the SA does not check. If it is easier for you to have it refunded to your credit/ debit card, then ask for them to do this.
The other alternative you have is if both parcels arrive, only sign for one and ask them to send the other one back as it's a duplicate. At least this way you don't have the hassle of trying to take the goods back to a store- down side is it may take a few days to get your refund.
    Good luck hun!

And also is CS right, that they will refund the money on to my debit card even though I paid by paypal?

Any help/advice/comments would be great :)
