    Hi

Is there anyone here from Colchester please?

I keep going into Boots, but can never find a clearance shelf. Also the AC machines were broken down today (all of them!!) and there were no S&G sets either.

I have looked on .com to find out which day is our Xmas evening, but it won't even tell me that.

Has Mr B got it in for Colchester or is it just me

    Can anyone help please?

    TIA

You've probably been answered already but:

Xmas shopping evening is 26th Nov. The clearance was on the end of the queue bit (at the front of the queue so you lost your place if you wandered over for a look) but its now been removed for Xmas :rotfl:

They did however have some manky chewing gum reduced to 20p but that was it

The ACM near the No7 wasn't working today but the other one was - not that it gave me any useful vouchers! No S&G sets left either. I'm going to the other Boots at Tollgate on the weekend and hope they may have some but not holding out much hope as its a much smaller store.

    HTH!

oral b triumph is good but so is the 8500- in an electric toothbrush you need to have one that that has a small round head and does the oscillating pulsating action and has a built in timer.....the triumph is just a gadget....if you give me £80 i will wink at you when you brush your teeth for longer than 2 minutes.....will beat training to be a hygienist!

All the oral b electric toothbrushes seem to have really positive reviews, so i don't think you can go wrong really. I know some people think the triumph with smartguide is gimmicky but its worth noting that it was recently awarded No1 in the Which Electrical Toothbrush report. For anyone not looking to spend that much the triumph without the smartguide is currently reduced to £54.99, and i was voted no2 in the same survey. Plus the triumphs weren't included in the last oral b half price offer, so if you are thinking of getting one now may be the best time in case they don't get reduced again IYSWIM x

Missing my advantage card, had to try Mums in the ACM today and *sob* no 100pt spend on No.7 . I wanted to combine that with the voucher in the mag and get 250pts to then get a No.7 Metallic Eyeliner for £6.75 (effectively £4.25) but the ACM was rubbish.... roll on the new advantage card :(

whats the deal with the S&G sets? (Are they def the soaper heros ones?)

I found 5 today....shelf label said £12 but I thought I knew better, got a SA to scan it and is was £12 ! not impressed!! I thought they were £5 ??

soaper heros is a completely different thing. The £5 set is the old GWP called admit it, you want me. Your store might not have any left. Theres various pictures been posted of it on this thread... HTH

  • Went into my local boots today and got two packs of the razorblades to go with the 6 4 1 Wilkinson Sword Titanium Quattro glitch which are supposed to be half price at £2.74 instead of £5.49 - didn't realise until had paid but they are scanning at £3.65 instead of the £2.74, just thought I had done my sums a bit wrong. SA had to refund and over-ride the price - she said she had reported it this morning but obviously hadn't got around to sorting it - just letting people know to check your receipt if you buy any of the blades to go with the incredibly cheap razors!!!

how do yiu get it 641 please

The glitch isn't working now. Apparently, the razors were on a 342 offer as well as 1/2 price! I think they are only on the 1/2 price offer, now.

I was considering buying these from the Boots website as a Christmas gift. Has anybody bought these and if so are they worth it?

    Thanks
