My plan for this week is to finish off the christmas shopping ... well apart from OH as I am still saving for his lol ...
OH gave me his bank card and pin number to finish it all off ... I think when he mentioned yesterday it is about 6 weeks til christmas and saw me in a flap he went in the wardrobes and saw just how much I have actually done already so decided he would help me by giving me his bank card :rotfl: Needless to say I am armed with a list of what I need to buy and hopefully I will get it all done this week.
OH must be in a good mood as he has told me to sort out all of my housey moving things out of the garage so he can move his office into the garage and then we can make up a nursery for our little girl so she has her own room(she is in with us still at the moment

Edited: Forgot to say, down ASDA's gift aisle they had some gifts for £1, bobble, post it note, key rings small bears that sort of thing. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
Good luck with the shopping Rusty
Mary, I too keep finding extra bits and bobs and must stop doing that and shelve the ideas for next year. I was more or less finished but went into Home Bargains and TK Maxx today and bought a couple of games for the boys from HB and an 8x8" scrapbook from TK Maxx for £3.99. The papers are already in it and they are decorated so all I'd need to do is add the photos. Thinking of doing it for OH. Need to sort the piccies. The book has 20 pages, great value for less than 4 quid :T
Also bought a set of candles that spell out MERRY CHRISTMAS in TK Maxx for £1.99. Each letter is a separate candle. They were not an essential purchase but too cute not to pick up at that price:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Forgot to say that Dunelm Mill has Christmas hand towels and tea towels in - white or cream with gorgeous embroidered designs. Hand towels are £1.99 and tea towels are 99p. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Have done a pot of gold for DH's Grandad, am really pleased with it, will post pic later.
Great pictures all btw!

Hi All,
I have a lovely hardworking husband who always puts the children and me first. I'm lucky I know, but that kind of person is a nightmare to buy for!! Anyway, he's always saying "i haven't got the time" whenever I suggest he does something like read one of his books!!
I've never done a hamper before, but I thought I could do one for him and try and make it a "Time" hamper...Only problem is, I need some witty and apt ideas of what to put in it! He's not one to pamper himself either.
Help!!
Thanks In Advance0 -
Ok
Put in : (ideas):
A mini clock !
A coupon book saying one night you will do - Washin up , put the children to bed , do anything he usually would
A book from his favourite author , or a book he would like.
A sports magazine (if he likes these)
His favourite chocolate/sweets
His favourite body spray/ deoderant
A mini football key ring (if he likes footy that is!)
A cosy luxury pair of slippers lol (even if he doesnt wear them make him for his 'time' night lol
Thats all i can think of for now!
The coupon you could print out or make yourself , if your children are at the elder age they could make some sayin on that night , they will walk the dog , wash up do what ever chores they could do and are able too ect..
