Hi everyone!
I'm a complete newbie to hampers, but have an extremely tight budget for pressies this year and it seems like an excellent idea!
Could anyone give me some hints or tips?
Especially where to buy the actual hamper baskets cheaply?
Much appreciated, thank you!

Vicky and Junior they are brill well done!
I have just finished my mum's hamper, its not exactly money saving as there are some expensive bits in there but I made quite a few bits too:
Home made calendar of children,
Home made jar of Peanut brittle,
Home made jar of smelly bums,
Gingerbread Perfect Man,
Brilliant Nanna Plaque,
Sponge & Facecloth,
Chocolates, Birthday Card Book, Diary,
Candle, Little pot of Gold,
Cava,
Pyjama Bottoms,
Expensive Nightdress, and expensive perfume.
Ran out of cello so not wrapped yet.
Total about £80  , but she is my only mum and she is worth it.You can stand there and agonize........

Pound stretcher are selling their baskets at lower prices, very cheap and very nice. As for fillings I go to pound shops, also look out for buy one get one free when your shopping for your self. That way you can get extra items for your basket while stocking up your cupboard. Also freebies are good, HTH:wave: Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
Beenie - pop Pots of Gold into the search box at the top of the page and it'll come up ................I'd put the link up but sorry, don't know how.Mary
