Is this treatment you refer to proton therpay?
Our 3 year old has brain stem cancer and we have also started to put into place to open a trust for just such a condition
Maybe we could join forces? feel free to PM me
Hi have spoken to the parents and apparently proton therapy isn't ready for Neuroblastoma in this country yet. They are looking at a number of treatments, including monoclonal anitbody thereapy.
I will give them your details though, in case they want to get in touch, thanks again.0 -
How about a car wash or a jumble sale?
I also did a tabletop sale early October, raising £1338
We have also done a darts, quiz and raffle at a local band club, there is a soul disco and fancy dress disco planned. We have collected at our local football ground and Asda.
I will have to do another sale as I have tonnes of items left over from before.
I am planning an Elvis night, as we have local to us an Elvis impersonator who made it to the BBC finals of their Elvis competition.
I want to do a pamper evening aswell. But with it being a large amount of money we need to do so much and need lots of people to help us.
Thanks for your reply though. Cheers0 -

I did it with my DS years ago for his local swimming club and we raised quite a bit. Sorry can't remember the exact figure. People are possibly more likely to donate money to this than to someone just standing there with a bucket (as you can easily be not noticed).
I have asked at Morrisons, as I thought it would be better to give something back to people for donating, but they are fully booked for bag packs up till xmas, and have offered us to collect in store, in the foyer 1 Dec. Tesco's said you have to be registered to collect their. Still to ask Sainsburys.
But a group of 8 people on a committee, can't do everything all at once.
We keep asking in the local paper, if anyone can help organise an event, maybe at their work, their childs school or local pub. But response has been small unfortunately????
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.0 -
You have done a lot. One thing you can do is to raise money by using the website for things like referals.0

How about a fundraising pamper evening and/or crafts party?0

Sorry if this suggestion is so vague, but what are these websites where you click on them every day to get a (such and such).
Could you set up one of those.
Hopefully someone will be along who knows what I mean
Unfortunately I'm not in your area otherwise I'd give you a hand with the bag packing.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
You mean something like http://www.thehungersite.com0

The following forum maybe of some help http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=42. What happens is that you put a link on your site and companies give you cash for getting people to join their website or clicking on a link or if you buy something through something like http://buy.at. Then there is also google adsense but you cannot encourage people to click on that. https://www.google.com/adsense/report/overview. I hope that helps but maybe someone with a better answer can come along as it is quite hard to explain.0
