Help.Whats the difference in a realtune and a song download for my fone?

Hiya.I have tried to buy a ringtone from 3 for my nokia 6200 but im not really sure what im doing!I thought i would get in the Christmas spirit and get Last christmas by Wham.However,if i want it to be a ringtone does it have to be a realtune and if so what is the difference?

any halp appreciated(i am absolutely useless at these kinda things...!!)

A song download is normally the full song. A realtone is normally a 30 second cut of the song, usually just the chorus.

Depending on your phone, some won't let you use downloaded music as a ringtone.

Here's the best way:

1. go to https://www.youtube.com, find your song.
2. copy the url from youtube into the Vixy Converter, downloaded free at https://www.vixy.net
3. choose "mp3 download" in vixy, and it'll download your song as an mp3 for free.
4. download audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net
5. use that to cut the mp3 down to 30 seconds of chorus.
6. save as mp3
7. plug your phone into your pc
8. copy the mp3 to the phone.

done. for free.

hi billbennett.have tried your instructions but when i paste into vixy it comes up wtih "url resolve error".
have you any idea what this means?
