Download belarc advisor, install it and run it, it will tell you the motherboard, the processor etc,0

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information.
This will display the System Information tool.
In the System Summry look for system manufacturer and system model in the right-side pane. Post back what they say and i'll see if i can find a driver for your board

You just need to re-create your modem dial up connection in the network places I pointed you to earlier.... doesnt sound like anything to do with motherboard drivers etc..
On the network connection page, click 'create new connection' and follow the instructions on screen. When it comes to the VCI, VPI settings, they are normally 0 and 38 - that will probably make more sense when you get to that screen.0 -

im sorry but i still cant do it i am trying but when it connects it shows me i have no online services,thanks for your help i may just go throw the dam thing out the bloody window,so i have a feeling that someplace on the pc is missing the virgin address for it to connect toReplies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. Click Start, then click Help and Support Click on Fixing a Problem (bottom left) Then left-hand side pane click Network Problems.. you can take things from there.Your tax bill is the penalty you pay for not helping the right candidates get into office.:D0
