  • I have just ordered one of these online with my debit card, it said delivery by 26th December. So if it arrives before xmas great, if not it will make a great birthday pressie for my choccie obsessed friend!!
    Roxi xx
    SEPTEMBER
    Ad Card total £72.49
    Quidco £77
    Pigsback 1140 points
(Boots vouchers so far = £40)
  • If you order by phone then you don't need to open an account and as payment is instant on the phone (using a debit or credit card) I'm assuming they will deliver before Christmas.
  • I don't really think asking for thanks in the context of a message board is really a big deal.

In this type of situation many people will read the information and think that it is useful, but not actually realize that they can click the 'thanks' button to show their gratitude. Specifically mentioning it will make people take a minute to look around and work out what they are talking about, thereby also encouraging them to do it in the future.
    Nice to save.
  • Another fine example of how a thread can go way off the topic.
Yes i know this an hypocritical posting. :xmassign:

I also paid by debit card and was given a delivery date of 23rd Dec, but when I phoned to ask about which company they use and whether it would be am or pm, they said that it would still take 10 days to create an account for me. The fact that I was paying by card was irrelevant - all new customers have to go through the same process. Totally and utterly stupid, but there you go, that's Empire Stores for you. Best avoid them to be honest.
