Just placed an order for Choc Fountain and 2 quid pink backpack and used the £15 off £30 voucher. Says 'in stock' and due to receive 23rd Dec!

    Keeping my fingers crossed. :xmassmile

Hmm, I've ordered from them before, but have never setup an account. As I'm getting to payment stage with this however, I get a message which says "Your order can only be charged to your account".

Any ideas, as I don't want an account with them?!

I'm not picking on you. I would never thank anyone who asked to be thanked.

Your first post about collecting smilies for christmas made me smile. It was tongue in cheek.

You then have a frowning smiley which give the opinion that you were not very happy about not getting many thanks.

Its the way I read it and the way it still looks to me.

I didn't request an answer publicly from you - I was just putting my view across as to why I thought you may not have as many thanks as you were expecting in reply to a post you publicly posted. It looks as though you were expecting more than you got as you took the time to compare views/thanks ratios. To me, it looked as though you were not happy and you were asking for more thanks.
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T

  • Why is there so much attitude on here!!!!!!

If someone walked up to you in the street and told you something that would save you money, then surely you wouldn't just walk away and say nothing?? What harm is there in clicking a little button to say thanks???

And I don't see any harm in people asking for a thanks if they tell you something!! A few times I've posted advice or information on here and not even received one thanks, even though people reply saying they've used the advice and saved money! When that happens it just makes you think that people are ungrateful and why should you bother helping??
  • I've cancelled my order now. you have to set up an account with them. although the site states you'll receive your order on the 23rd, if you're a new customer it'll take them 10 days to put your details onto their system before they even think about posting the item out. Any 'new' customers that have ordered these aren't likely to get them till mid january! £15 or not, it'll be no good to me then.

    Thanks for the info though.
  • Everyone is busy - Everyone is here to help each other.

I agree that you should not ask for thanks, but then again I would always thank people as that is the way I am. Others are different.

Just get on with it and live in the knowledge that you are helping others help themselves.

Although I would say that your post will not do much for most people's waist lines and so far I have managed to resist.
    But only just.
