I already own a wii and the family enjoy it a great deal, my husband would like a ps3 slim also, as he wants to play football games etc, does anyone know if it is worth buying. He also would like the dj hero game, i think this costs £69 at amazon, plus i have a £20 amazon voucher i could use so i would get this cheaper. Does anyone know if it is better to play dj hero on ps3 or should i stick to it on the wii, im very confused. If i did get the ps3, would i just need to buy an extra control. Please help if you can. thankyou

I own a PS3 slim and I LOVE it. It's outsold the Xbox 360 3 to 1 too (got to love stats). Football games and such are probably better on there yes. I can't imagine they are very easy to play on the Wii. We use our Wii for the more family orientated games. I can't imagine there is much difference between DJ hero on different consoles. The amazon price has gone up a little. You wouldn't need an extra controller to play it because you play the game on a turntable. PS3's are definately worth it IMO, there are some very good deals around at the moment too.

don't forget if you are buying this as a gift then you will need to purchase a psp memory card seperately (i got a 4 gig one and it set me back £30) because you cant save a game or use wifi unless the memory card is in plus headphones are a good idea for use when out and about.

I'm afraid not, which is a shame!! especially as there's a free delivery code out at the mo too! I've not made the mistake etc, but might lose that perk.

It's completely out of stock for home delivery now any ways everywhere according to the web.

Not sure where I stand, if they can honour the deal perhaps they can honour that too but when I called, one person said their tills automatically issue them when a deal is on, but won't allow it after.

Great point about the mem card, amazon have them for just over £10 though for the pro duo cards...

well i've finally taken the plunge and ordered a ps3 250gb from game.
250gb ps3 slim console with fifa10, infamous and gran turismo 5 for the hefty total of 284.99

couldn't hold my nerve any longer as swine flu has hit this house so hope this deal is good!

There are loads of good deals on the Xbox 360 Elite out at the moment. The best two come from Amazon and Currys.

Amazon has a deal where you can get three games and an extra controller for £189.99.

Currys has a deal where you can get two games and an extra controller for £179.99.
