for reference i started a thread titled the great ds lite hunt.
there might be something in there.
if not, i've just bought one from ebay. from a seller called clearancebargains-uk. which is actually argos selling off stuff they can't sell as new for one reason or another.
fair enough it's sold at a refurb but i've bought from them before and it's usually very good stuff.
i paid £69.99 for a silver DS lite plus £6.99 postage (DHL)
there's a 7 day returns policy plus a full 1 year guarantee. i don't think you can really say fairler than that if you're on a budget. they had silver, black, white, pink , turquoise. some a bit dearer than others.
try them out. - just look under ds lite refurbished

Try Blockbuster - they have some great deals on at the moment. On Saturday I got a Nintendo Wii with 2 free games for £179.99 (got Mario Kart with wheel and Fifa 09)

They had loads of different offers and had free games with Nintendo DS too.

P.S my local store took a £5 deposit from me to guarentee me one as soon as they came in as they had sold out when I first saw the offer advertised in the paper, they got one 2 days later and phoned me straight away - great service!!

Did you know you can get PS3 and XBox elite (aswell as tvs wii ds etc) as free gifts from several online mobile phone companies when you buy a new phone. It really works and the phones dont cost the earth. I've just bought a £10 phone on a £20 a month contract (200 mins and unlimited txts) and got an XBox elite as a free gift.

Looked at clearancebargins-uk on ebay some good prices on their for wii's & ds, going to read their policies etc and prob buy a couple for the kids for xmas, thanks cheapaschips

The Argos deal is good,£299 for ps3 console,accessory pack and 2 games,and if you dont like the 2 games you get with their package you can part exchange them for the ones you want at gamestation.

The Amazon deal looks good until you realise that the price shown does not include VAT which is added at checkout. Hmmm... not so good.
