Don't worry CB, believe me;) with regards to spending/accounts/tax returns/gross/net etc.
The interview will be a breeze.

    2 and 1/2 hours long!!!!!!:exclamati:eek:
As I suspected, most of the time was spent on the trail of debt. Consolidation after consolidation didn't make it easy. Maybe I was too prepared, I wish I'd just said I didn't remember! However, I did want to get it over with and not have to keep waiting for "further questions".

A lot of time was spent checking for any disposal of assets. The sale of a property in 2005, of which the proceeds didn't fully clear all the acquired debt!

Some time was spent inquiring about an old (1990) touring caravan. I think she thought it was a large static holiday / park home, as she asked if anyone was living in it. (I might have to, if CB kicks me out:D) I'm not really that bothered if they want it, cos it's not worth much and we don't really use it. A few questions I've still got to answer, like the address of the storage yard where the caravan is kept.

2 hours in, I felt like I was getting a right grilling, but then not much later, she said that we had got to the end of the interview, and hadn't even mentioned our outgoings. I guess that as CB is paying such a large proportion, it would be difficult for her to question. I had to ask her if she was happy with our outgoings, and she said she was. Anyway, it will help when I start to earn more, so here's the final figures.

I had a few questions on continuing trading and stopping later, if that seemed right. The car is on HP and should be ok, but I won't know for sure until OR and HP co have talked. If I later decide to hand it back and the bank consider that there is a shortfall, then that amount can be included in the BR! I know some have been asking about that recently. I'll have to wait and see!

Can't think of any other details at mo. ChelseaBun:kisses3: was at my side throughout, and so far we haven't let the stress get to us - since the phone call however, we've had arguments about; how to administer the flea spray to the cat, who's got the biggest piece of pizza, and how to write this last paragraph in a grammatically correct way!;)

  • Thank you for the largest piece of pizza, darling OD!:D

We're very pleased it's over! You don't really realise how stressful it is until you relax afterwards. We still have to wait for the OR to write to me to confirm that OD hasn't contributed to the house I own (well, NR owns, actually, with 15k neg equity:rolleyes:) If we could sell it we really would!

They also mentioned something about the value of the HP car, despite the fact that OD needs a good car to teach people to drive in. So they might be interested in that, but we'll fight it if they try to take it. How's he supposed to earn a living as an ADI with no car??

Anyway, as you can probably tell I'm still a bit wound up, but it was generally a very good interview with a positive result as far as we could tell. I need a great big drink to relax and calm down with! Thanks as always for your support and help - it's very much appreciated! CBx;)

My OR interview was 2 1/2 hours long face to face and I too felt I was getting a grilling at times. I was relieved when it was over! Phew!

    I have 2 important questions -
    1) who won the argument over the cat spray?
    2) why couldn't you cut the pizza equally?

ps last paragraph looks okay however if I was to make any changes I would have changed the ; to : but I'm not in the mood to correct people (in case I'm wrong and I can't be bothered to look it up! - oh and one more thing, because I am a foreigner albeit from an English speaking country, some of our grammar and spellings are different to the ones here).

    :j :j

Now, can one of you get round here and put flea drops on my kitten. There's a prize of a very large piece of pizza for whoever can run fast enough to catch her.:D
