Porto is another destination that isn't in their list of free flights from Stansted.

You need to click on your departure airport and it will come up with a list of the destinations that are free and will have a "from" price next to those that aren't free.

Then you need to check the days and/or times that are applicable to the destination that you are going to before you search for flights. It can take time and you need to be flexible but there are plenty of 1p only flights out there

I got a flight from London to Stockholm from the thurs 22nd - mond 26th of January for £8.02, the fligth was 2p, but the debit card charge was £8!! very sneaky of them, but still worth it for me :j

Yes, you have to be careful, there are SPECIAL OFFER fares that are 1p no taxes and REGULAR FARES that are 1p plus taxes.

I have just bagged return flights from Stansted to Palma Mallorca for 2p return and I paid with my visa electron card - so it really was 2p - yippee!!

Just for everyone's benefit. I opened a Halifax 'Easy Cash' account, which is there pure online bank account and comes with an Electron card. I only use this account for Ryanair flights and so far it has saved me over £100 this year alone!

No frills airline Ryanair is advertising a mass of 1p flights (including standard taxes and charges) from 19 UK airports to over 60 European destinations, such as Barcelona, Bologna and Paris-Beauvais.

Flights must be booked by Midnight Friday 21 Nov for travel between December '08 and Feb '09. Ryanair is advertising some penny flights (at Liverpool & Manchester) for journeys in April & May '09, but unfortunately this seems to be an error as just winter flights are included in this deal.

I've found flights available for £0.49 from Manchester and Liverpool between the end of March and May, but no £0.01 ones in any period from Manchester or Liverpool.

I've just got a return flight from Stansted to Rome, departing 28/01/09 and returning 02/02/09, for £0.04: £0.02 per person whilst selecting no luggage, web check in and no insurance. And I paid without charges using my Bank of Scotland Visa Electron card which I got specifically for booking flights.

Perfect!

can anyone tell me how to pre book baggage (cost £8) with ryanair every time i try i get charged £24 a case

Baggage is £8 per bag each way (ie £16 for a return flight), however to check in a bag you must also select (and pay for) airport check in at a cost of £4 each way, giving a total of £24 per bag per return flight.

I had this deal sent to me from Travelzoo and went on the site,
Booked the 0.01p flight to Barcelona (Reus) for Feb (2nd-4th) no problems.
I paiD £16.00 direct debit card handling fee but i still think this is a bargain and totally looking forward to it.
