  • Ohhh nice to see all of the old faces from my old diarys. Also welcome to those who havent followed me before.

So day 8 and 9, yesterday I didnt spend anything :j and I am planning not to today too. I will be listing more on ebay though :D I am up to £15.45 so far on the bits I put on this week, so that just about covers all my fees :rotfl: So this week I have to send three parcels, two are thankyou gifts (all items I had at home) and one is a recuring item I pass on each month. I have £10 for that (thanks quidco) so I hope its not more than that. Also I recived my vouchers from pigsback yesterday. Now normally I use these as/for xmas gifts but seeing as I have everybodys I have decided to buy a book I have been after, dear fatty by dawn french, will try and get that sometime this week. :j I also need to get rid of some of the books I have here. I have two bookcases (small 3 shelf ones) and I vowed only ever to have one filled at a time, well this book will fill it up :o I have tryed green met but only one sold  I think I will put them on amazon and see how they fair, if they dont sell I will pop them on ebay. If they dont sell there I will be giving them to charity.
  • Had a really productive day today. We had to go food shoping today and I didnt manage to spend a thing there, then we went in hobby craft :o mum wanted to 'check the price of one of my gifts' but I did leave empty handed spending nothing :j :j woo hoo first in a long time as I usually always have to buy something in there when I go in :rotfl: Then we went to the local shopping centre for mum to get her hero cd, while there I thought I would price up my book and see when I could afford it. Well it was 1/2 price today in waterstones so I acually had 51p change from my voucher :j So that my read for this week sorted. I also have just turbo listed 13 more items to upload tonight :j Woo hoo. That is all the things for now that I want to sale however I am yet to list my books on amazon so I 'may' do that tonight if not on my day off :D Ohh and I have sold my wii, wii fit and play for £180 :j i wont be getting the money for a month or so yet (very close friend that I trust) but considering it all cost me £0 (free quidco money) I am happy with that. I keep being told by my brother that 'you could of got way more for that on ebay' Yes I could have but I am happy to help out a friend and make something from effectivelly nothing. That money will be going into my savings account for my holiday when I recieve it :D
  • OMG! You sold your Wii?! I thought you loved your Wii?

Sarah, I do! but it wasnt getting used. Seriously I went throught all my logs and execpt twice when my brother used it I hadnt used it since Jully  I cant justify that, also I now have my ds so all the games I loved on there (mario kart, brain training) I have on that. I havent had it for a while now and I dont miss it at all. It is a great machine and its very 'now' but I spend so much time online/crafting I just havent got time. :o

Anyways my ebay stuff is up to £50 now and I have 4 days and 8 days left on those :j
  • Thats a fair point, and I'm very tempted to sell mine too... I've only got Wii Fit and Mario cart, but I can't remeber the last time I got the Wii fit out! Trouble is, I know that as soon as I sell it, I'll wanna play it!

  • :rotfl: Sarah, I was like that but then I just bite the bullet and sold it. Now its another thing less to dust

Ok so I have been offline for a day or so and still spent nothing :j my ebay items are up to £79 the holiday is usually around £170 so not far to go :D Nothing else much to write except my printer has broken down :o I have had it 5 years so I am not that mad but it just means I will have to spend on saturday to buy a new one. I would try and live without it but I use it to print photos/card stuff. I have found one that take the cartridges I use now so my stock of new cartridges will still be used. Its £30 though but I need to buy one, so that will come out of my £172 avalible to me each month. Great start eh :rotfl:

You're doing great! :j and its a sensible decision about the Wii, i think :) I've been wanting one for ages, but when I sit and think about how much I'd actually use it, it isn't really worth it! and well done on not spending - i will i had your will power!
    Have a good day x
