  • Good luck with the interview Cerisa and well done for listing so much stuff on ebay - I have some stuff to list but am putting it off till Thursday (I like to do it on Thursdays with a 10 day auction and then it runs over 2 weekends)
P.S - Ironing has been on my 'to do' list for about a week now too, but I can't be arsed either!

thank you all. I'm getting fed up with ebay tbh, the only thing keeping me motivated is the huge amount of clutter in my room. I'm getting fed up with being poor in general at the moment, my best friend is away for a week so it's going to be more difficult not to just blow money - when i'm bored and lonely it's very easy to wander round the shops, especially as I have to go into town tomorrow. I have to see an agency and sign on which I am not looking forward to. I hate being treated like a lazy retard. Also i tried to indicate to the guy interviewing me that I wanted a low stress job as my previous three jobs - receptionist for Social Services, Sub Editor for a small company and Post Graduate Secretary on a conservative and under-funded course - have all been stressful, involved a long commute, taking work home, doing unpaid overtime etc. He patronised me and said "yes well, the better paying jobs often are more stressful." Like yeah, great but i'm happy to take a !!!! job to pay the bills and my rent - i had expected them to appreciate that attitude, not put me down for it!

    * I bought microsoft word, thinking it was £50. Just got an invoice - after shipping and Vat it's actually £70
    * I've only been awarded £220 a month housing benefit, despite my rent being £270. Thereby giving me the option of breaking their rules, or going into debt. Thanks guys!
