Back from a day out to Nottingham - not much flying done but did manage to have a go at the en suite before I left. I didn't realise how many empty bottles of conditioner etc I had lying arround:eek:

The trip to the Hosp in Nots took 2 1/2 hours each way for a 15min appointment - I have to claim al the expences as its for a negligence claim, OH has only two days hol left before Xmas at his temp job and needs them for job interviews (he has 2 tomorrow and one on Friday) so I'm hoping the Solicitor will say we can claim his wages for the day then he can take it off unpaid.

I'm shattered now so I'm going to have an early night and start again tomorrow.

Pigpen - ((hugs))to you and your family. Try to get some rest if you can, you've just had too much on your plate lately.

Oh dear, poor you. I can understand that one. My parents had been divorced for 20 odd years when Mr Shattered and I got married. My Dad did the toast, and my mother rolled her eyes all the way through! They're not bitter though. Just bloomin irritating!!! :D

The wedding I was talking about earlier didn't feature speeches from the parents, but from the groom and 2 best men... what can I say, it was unusual!

If I could re-do my wedding, I'd have made a speech myself, had my OH make one, and that would be it. :rotfl:

It sounds like you're going to have a lovely day. When is it?
