Valli - it's a bit cool, and clouds are coming over with rain on the way
But the days are longer, and I love it being light at 6am when I walk the dogs.

Huge hugs to johanne and pigpen
Lou - do the wedding thing your own way - we didn't have speeches at the sit down as everyone's cake hole was too stuffed with sticky pudding and it was in a pub, and I just did an impromptu speech in with the thank yous on the night (well I am an ex holiday rep!) as my gorgeous BigGibbon was too tiddly to say anything coherent. Dad wanted to make a speech but cause he couldn't see to read his notes, he bottled it - but I love him anyway and was just grateful he was well enough to be there. Order of the day a great idea so people aren't always asking you, especially somewhere they could wander off - one little thing - there are 2 ss in dessert:o before you print the lot out. Have a fantastic day.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Morning all
Gryfon - lovely pictures!
Woken up feeling a bit bleurgh this morning - hope it's just because I was a bit late getting to bed and not the cold that's going round the office. ANOTHER grey morning in these parts. I really need some sunshine!
Have a lovely day ladies - hugs to all who need them.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning All :hello:
Hugs to all and to anyone that needs a special ((((squeeeeezzzzzeeee))))
I slept like a log last night, and could have carried on for several more hours.
Valli I know what you mean!!! It must have been bad.....but, the most reassuring thing for me, was how concerned they were. Her infants school senco was worse than useless. Her TA was completely against her having meds, and so spent the whole time telling me that my little girl was 'sad' when medicated.... not helpful, esp as I didn't ever see any evidence of her feeling 'sad'. There were plenty of staff members who didn't believe that ADHD is real. Just a bad mother I suppose!. The fact that my other two girls are well mannered, and well behaved (they save the bad behaviour for me!) Is neither here nor there apparently.
Anyway... the staff yesterday were so worried about her, and about what they were doing.... the relief when I told them she hadn't been medicated that day was palpable.
I shouldn't laugh about it, but it does show how bad she is without meds, and confirms that I'm doing the right thing. It was hilarious though!!! :rotfl:
See you all later

Morning all
Needed to make a couple of calls to school - secondary...
Mmmmm - a school which 'opens' to pupils at 8.30 has no-one taking calls at 8.15... tried at 8.20 calls answered but neither teacher 'in yet?'!
Anyway got the 'correct' e mail address from the office because e mails (to contact those teachers) returned undelivered...that e mail address was the one on the website!
I know it's a big busy school with lots of staff so I would have thought e mail an ideal contact method...
2 loads of washing have been done - now I am off to bath and get ready for what promises to be another busy day in Valliland...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
