    :hello:

Going to try and be good and work through this back pain to do the housework. Loads needs doing especially cleaning the soot off the kitchen floor, hanging out the washing before it smells and trying to sort the work surfaces out. Bit peed off with Mr G at the moment as the house is just getting worse and he doesn't seem to be bothered! He'll do the cooking which is great and he'll make me drinks, sort my heat pack out etc but he seems to have developed a blind spot when it comes to doing the housework. For some reason he cleared part of the bedroom, which is great of course, but left the dirty kitchen floor where the baby walks. I just don't get it! I know I'm not perfect but really. Bah...feeling miserable now...

    Hi guys

Johanne I'm so sorry flower ((((((((big hugs))))))) it was a rotten way to tell you though, I have to say......take care of you x

Mudders sorry you're not well, the deal with the WII does sound good but I'm not up on the prices I must say, I would advise a second remote and nunchuck though if you can get them.

Justamum your post about your parents brought a lump to my throat, aren't they fabulous x

Dusty thanks for the get well thoughts *mwah*

I'm a bit better but not there yet.....managed to eat a bowl of porridge earlier on which brought a sweat on lol I haven't been eating much and I've lost 5lbs yay :D not the best way to lose weight though, definitely wont be back at work this week. Throat still stingy and sore but it's not turning into tonsilitis it's just part of the whole flu thang....which I'm relieved about, I slept a bit better last night too which is a good sign although the sheets were soaking when I woke up (and no I hadn't p***** myself :rotfl: )

Had to do an online shop yesterday as the cupboards are bare I haven't even got milk or bread (I had porridge at OH's) so that's coming between 2 and 4 today. I'm expecting teenie back from College any minute and have some dailies lined up for him, he's a real God send that lad...I keep telling him how much I appreciate all he does for me....hope it's sunk in.

pigpen :rotfl: @ the image of you I have in my head dressing your 17yr old DS :D

Finally finished the living room and just having a sandwich.

Plan to do Cloakroom and hall floor next then move into family room/my study. Putting the kitchen off until tomorrow as I just don't fancy it.

Found pilates mat/ring under the sofa so may do 20 minutes later but I really don't feel like it.

Gryfon Have you asked him to do the housework - most men do need to be asked, a tip I picked up from 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' book..... say "will you" not could you, would you mind.....it's worth a go, hope your back feels better soon.

I need a cuppa but I've got no milk *wail* oh good teenies back in, now, where his list......

I have the best parents in the world

They sound wonderful, and I'm sure you do lots for them to make up for it - I'd be lost without my Mum - she does so much for me even now and when there was both of them would help us out financially when we couldn't do it ourselves - I do the same for her now so it's all swings and roundabouts - here's hoping for a lottery win for them so your dad doesn't have to work any more... ;) )

Can someone be clever for me please or point me in the right direction. I need to clear the children's rooms but I'm struggling with storage. I think they're struggling to keep their rooms tidy because they don't know where to put things so it all gets shoved in a corner. Any ideas for me? I've got lables and I can get some more boxes, would the flat pack boxes be better than others? Heeeeeeeelp!

Oh johanne precious.. he has no idea what he is missing out on!! He has been through a lot the last few months (I know you have too!) but it might just be a bit of a breakdown for him.. they aren't very tightly wrapped these male specimens! it'll all come right in the end wherever this path is taking you.. you know where we are if you need anything.. or to offload.. I have a comfy sofabed if you need to escape! big big hugs sweetie!! xxxxxx

Pigpen has once again summed up how we all feel - hugs to you Johanne - and what a horrible way to find out - I'm sure he's just mixed up at the moment, you have both been through sooo much lately, but what will be will be and you are tough and will survive this, even though you may not think that at the moment... we're here if you need a moan or anything... x
