Mopped the kitchen floor last night, so that's that job out of the way. I've just discovered more mouse droppings hidden in a corner of the work surface, so bleaching the worktops is my next job. I really, really must sit down at my sewing machine today. I've got loads to do!

Most important job - PHONE THE CHIMNEY SWEEP! I phoned one last week and left a message for him, but haven't heard back, so I'm going to try another one.

I have the best parents in the world, and I really don't deserve them. When they were over last week they paid for some carpet for our lounge - a piece we can roll up and take with us when we move - but we need to get the chimney swept before it's delivered.

Also, they gave me some money to pay for more oil for heating. We wouldn't be able to afford to put the heating on otherwise. It was my dad who paid for me to go to my brother's wedding the other week. They don't have much money themselves - my dad is still having to work at nearly 77, and he's had a heart attack and a stroke in the past. I feel really guilty taking money from them, but they won't take no for an answer. I really, really love them, and I'm getting all emotional as I type this, so I'll go and clean the kitchen surfaces to stop myself blubbing!

  • Hi everyone. I know I'm a bit late but can I join in? I've tried before, but now I have a few hours to myself every morning, I want to try again. Who knows, maybe OH will come home one day and actually be pleased with the state of the house.

feel like a wet rag. OH decided to tell me at 3am via text message that the engagament/relationship is over and hes looking for somewhere else to live. So was up till 5am as i got so upset i accidentally woke pumpkin and had to cuddle and comfort her for over an hour to get her back to sleep. So were both shattered so doubt be flying today.

    Hiya
Sorry not been on or caught up with the thread but did get the advice about Wii's so thankyou for that. I'm feeling pretty yuk and my doctor thinks I might have shingles. This means I can't go into the hospice until I know it's not what i've got or the blisters have dried up! I had shingles two years ago and wasn't too ill with it but this time i'm just really, really tired! Maybe i've just got lazyitis! I've cancelled all clients for the week until I know what i've got. So, today i'm going to do my list very slowly, sleep and check out the Wii deals you all mentioned.

Hugs to all who need them. I'll try and catch up with the thread later xx
