Monday Marvels- Living Room & Hall & Stairs
Extra Mission : help yourself
3. 35 fling boogie..
My normal dailies -
Wipe inside of oven. (Done everyday then I don't have to clean it IYSWIM)
Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
S&S downstairs toilet.
Wipe over PC desk & keep free from clutter.
Tidy & S&S bathroom.
Wash bathroom floor.
Hoover bedrooms/landing & bathroom.
Keep ironing together (x15)
Sort clean washing & put clothes away.
Not bad. All achieved through anger more than anything. Still it's done now and the LR,Hallway and Stairs do look pretty:T
Sweepy has just started her first season. She's 8 months old to the day.
When we took her out last week a lovely springer spaniel was taking an awful lot of interest in her. Ignored his owner completely when recalled. Sweepy dog was not impressed. All her fur was standing up from her neck and all the way down her back. She looked like she had a mohican:rotfl:So I did wonder then whether or not she might be close to starting.
She's just gonna have to have lead walks for the next month I think. Trouble is I think that's gonna drive her potty. She loves her off lead runs and she needs them. That's the collie in her.
Anyone got any advice?

Tag I wouldn't have a dog without them being 'done' because of the risk involved, when we had Megan as a breeder (not for us) the season was a NIGHTMARE she just would escape at and chance she got.
Right washer won't do itself...One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks lil_me
TBH I've never had a girl before. My other 2 dogs were boys.
I've read a bit on the internet this afternoon and it looks as though it's next week when she'll get a bit manic. We were told by the vet not to have her spayed until she's had her first season. So we'll see about having her done after Christmas.0 -
back from the shops - absolutely soaked as Sainsburys seem to think 'short length' is for people who are about 5'4" at least, very annoying as my new jeans trailed all on the ground and i'm now wet up to my knees
Also feel a bit miserable as people are so awful here - no one smiles or chats in shops - just London I guess (though we're not exactly in central london). Anyway, a few things to cross off my list. DH is doing the dinner as he's feeling bad for being grouchy with me earlier i think.

Hi all
I'm new to this thread. I have been trying to follow flylady in bits since Jan this year. I have a question from one of the emails that have come through and wondered whether any of you could help me understand it. I have just been reading Leanne's marinade for:
Garlicky Ginger Lime Marinade
1 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ginger root, grated
4 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup olive oil
Do you think she really mean a whole cup of lime juice - as in squeezing for hours over the juicer? It would take loads and loads of limes!!
Would love someone to tell me that is not the case as I fancy trying the marinade.
Thanks in advance

AnW's mum - Cake mania is a really good fun game, basically, you make cakes and serve people, ok, sounds really not as much fun as it is, and it is!!!!! Mariokart is also really fun, brain training is ace...although my score is depressing considering I'm 24 (I think). I am also an addict of the Kirby game phenomemnom(gods know the sp). They are very simple, easy to play and fairly short, so good for beginners and people with zero patience (ME:D ) Hope this help...ps I may be a slight game freak, but no-where near as bad as HIM!Now MARRIED!11/09/100

Dinner cooking. Hallway done. Bathroom started.
Kids on the Wii - DS3 had it for his 6th birthday - they played olympics loads and loads. We have karts which OH likes more than the kids. They are playing starwars lego today. Think I'll get a new game for xmas - what would you recommend mainly for a 7 year old?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dusty kitten - If he's loving lego star wars, lego batman is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!Now MARRIED!11/09/100

Evening
Hugs to all the poorly ones
Hello to the new ones
Lil-me - excellent news about DP!
Glad you had a good weekend Rach
Dusty - long tailed tits are quite sweet! My garden's been a bit light on birds recently - I think it's the RSPB bird food I bought - they don't seem to like it! I'll have to get a supply of the usual stuff and mix it I think.
Reasonable day at work though bitty. Emails and things to sort out when I got home and I've just caught up with the thread. Am now off to do a bit of flying in the living room and sort out dinner. I normally do some sort of stir fry on a Monday but tonight I have the urge for fish and chips. I've got some in the freezer so that's what we'll haveI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
