Hi gang,
I'm in... :xmastree: I'm more of a lapsed oldie than a newbie!
I really need to get my rear end into gear! Christmas only a few weeks away, house is a bomb site etc. etc.
As I've now got DD1(5), DS(3) and DD2(4 months), it's a pretty busy time for me, but I KNOW I can do better if I can organise myself more.
Achieved today:
Bathed baby
WM * 1
Research for future work project & ordered book
Dealt with maintenance man
Checked with friends and family about Christmas preesents for children
Still to do:
Monday Marvels- Living Room & Hall & Stairs
Level One
Clear floors of clutter
Level Two
Vacuum floors and sofas
Dust fluffy areas
Wipe sofas and tables
Cook tea
Homework
DW
Download photos from holiday
Sort clean washing
Vacuum DD1's bedroom & change bedding
Hope everyone else is having a good day!

Good afternoon
Just whizzing through, welcome to all the newbies and returnees. Hugs to those with the lurgy, hugs to those without the lurgy and lil_me fantastic news about OH's decision (even if it was car and not people related!)Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
AnWsMum and hollyh yes very relieved, I think it might have been more to do with me pointing how much his whole lifestyle would change.....or possibly just that when he'd be home he'd have to spend all his time with the children rather than doing as he liked (which is what his Mam does when she's home, doesnt bother with family) that clinched it. Moneys too attractive when you go in with £ sign blinkers on, talking £95k per annum plus bonuses, but as I said it's danger money, my old friend loosing his life just before Xmas last year proved that. Fingers crossed when his Mam is back in December she doesn't talk him into wanting to go again (she's who is behind the whole idea in the first place!! evil w*tch)
nicki I've had a VERY cross salesman threaten to sue me for loss of earnings when I did something similar, as you can imagine I just laughed at him and told him rather than spouting nonsense get something done about the prices, tell his bosses people were going elsewhere as they were charging too much, then he toddled off
DS2 collected, went via cold park, it's getting really dark already, so strange picking them up when it's getting dark. Still a jumper missing, not at school that we can find, bother. Tonight 'late' halloween party so no cooking for me :T:T so as I have about an hour inc to get the boys ready, I might do the kitchen as I won't need to mess it up again. Popped to tell Matthew's Mam I have found him a new Lenny, plus the fact I have ordered 2 :rotfl: poor little munchkins missing his, I am hoping it has the desired effect in settling him down. One day I might be more organised...........

Think I have settled on asking Father Christmas to bring a DS Lite for Miss A for Christmas and from my research so far the Argos deal looks the best. Thinking brain training and a couple of other games. Bearing in mind she loves crafty stuff, girly stuff etc does anyone have any suggestions for appropriate games to go with it. If it's educational as well all the better.
Still trying to decide for W, he has loads of Thomas trains etc alreadyOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Lil_me - so pleased to hear your news!
Well, all the washing that I've room for is done, I'm about to bring in what's on the line as it won't dry anymore today.
I've made lingonbrot rolls, bird food cake bars, raspberry and chocolate chip muffins, roasted chicken and swept up debris DH left yesterday, but I daren't move the dust sheet coz I've been coughing so much.
I'm going to wash the dining room floor though, as that will get rid of some dust, but DH will have to move the dust sheet when he gets home, as well as turning the mattress and making the bed.
So.............not quite flying, but maintaining a fairly steady hover. Poor doggies haven't had a walk from me for nearly two weeks tho as I'm coughing too much for that. We've just had "a run round the garden and a kick at the cat" as my "Dear Departed Granny" used to say.

Thanks all, I am relieved, but wonder how long before part of me is wishing he'd gone, like when I look over and he's got a pile of rubbish on his side of the bed again like now, grrr, someones got to love them :rotfl: He haddn't so much said he wasn't until I said 'why are you ordering car stuff if you're going away' and he said 'i'm not'
Ordered couple more xmas bits for DSs. AnWsMum you would have time to get one from abroad (via ebay etc) I can state these work just as well, my 2 have ones from Iraq as you couldn't get them here last year (she does come in handy for some things) she's said she won't bring stuff like that back this year or would have got you them. There are uk seller ones with games around the £100 mark too. DSs are multiregional.
I've decided stuff the housework, lying on the bed shopping, being lazyand going to go through my wardrobe to see what I can wear tomorrow. Going here http://www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk/hotels/northern-england/barcelo-redworth-hall-hotel/dining/ for lunch
paid for
but trying to decide what to wear, need smart but casual ish as we have a not so posh meeting in McDs for coffee with a few of us first :rotfl:will be out all day.....busy busy....I think for the first time in years I could have done with a smart suit, I might have to invest in some actually, I have nothing like that ***flicks through shabby wardrobe*** hmmm
Back in a bit need to do washing machine switch4 loads done today and there is still more.
One day I might be more organised...........
