    1 cup lime juice
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon ginger root, grated
    4 cloves garlic, pressed
    1/4 cup olive oil

Do you think she really mean a whole cup of lime juice - as in squeezing for hours over the juicer? It would take loads and loads of limes!!

Would love someone to tell me that is not the case as I fancy trying the marinade.

Your suspicions are probably right. You would need at least 4 limes to get a whole cup full out of them. You could always try making half a batch the first time, that way if you don't like it you save the expense and effort (and you can always report back to let the rest of us know if it's any good!).

I get FlyLady's emails, but only the digest, otherwise there'd be about 20 emails to delete some days. I just scan through for the mission of the day and any recipes.

Children are in bed, the DW has been emptied and filled again, HHI to do plus getting school bags and clothes ready for the morning.

LR and the Snug are clear as I did them yesterday but I need to hoover all of the ground floor. Boys are in bed so I will have to do it in the am before work.

The ironing press should now be warm so off to do that next.

Kaz at least it sounds like you are getting a bit more help, or was the we sarcastic?

  • What I plan to do today with DH's help:

[STRIKE]Get out my pit, have a shower and get dressed[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]At least 3 loads of laundry, washed[/STRIKE] and dried
    35 fling boogie
    Wash down the front door
[STRIKE]Organise the shoes and coats at the front door[/STRIKE]
Sweep and mop the hall floor
    Hoover the stairs
    Sweep the living room floor
    Dust the living room
    Clean the paintwork
    Bake a cake

    Hubby will:

[STRIKE]Hang the coat rack back up on the wall[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy the toddlers' room sufficiently to be able to...[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]...put up the toddler's bed[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Make lunch[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Make dinner[/STRIKE]

First day. A mixture of failure and success, and I only have myself to blame for my failures (well, I can also blame hubby since he got me pregnant which made me tired which meant I didn't have the drive to do more today) but the successes were good.

    Tomorrow I plan to:

Be up, showered, dressed by 8.30am
    35 fling boogie
    Two separate HHCs
    Three more loads of laundry
Take the clean washing to the laundrette to be dried
Fold and put away the dry, clean washing.
Clear the floors and sofa in the living room of everything that shouldn't be there except for the laundry pile.

If I manage to do that I'll be an extremely happy puppy.
