The exciting thing about this is when they do a "taxes + fees included offer" just like the 1p flights to Dublin etc. Serious bargains will be had, not every seat, every flight, but they will be there! Its up to us to find them.0

Is it still racist if it's a fact?
Another fact reported by the BBC documentary Little Britain was that "Americans like to holiday in their own country..... which suits the rest of the world just fine”

Racist, no ("American" isn't a racial category), but insulting...well, that may be another matter. The UK has more than it's fair share of overweight people, but the poster in question chose to stoop these sort of schoolyard tactics anyway.Nothing on this thread has been even remotely racist or insulting to anyone.
As for the original subject, honestly, I'd be worried about the whole issue of fuel reserves that Ryan Air was criticised for recently. I don't fancy a dunk in the Atlantic.
The second-city airport thing is not such a big issue, imo. The American airline Southwest has been flying to many of them for years. I've flown them countless times and have never had trouble with airport transportation. The most common places that people would visit (i.e. big cities) have good bus/rail links to the airports. The thing that Southwest has that Ryan Air lacks though...a Customer Service department that actually serves the customers.

This is old news. I reported it first here some months ago
linkThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
