I agree with what mummytofour says about a second job - maybe you're setting your sights too high though as I was going to suggest some bar work of some kind, maybe even you and your friends local if they need anyone, because at least then you'll get to socialise with your friends and it won't cost you a penny!

I don't have any friends let alone a local

I've been applying for all the xmas temp jobs, boots, debenhams, etc. I don't mind working at nights or weekends at all, nothing else to do :rotfl:

Thanks everyone, I feel like I have more of a plan now and feeling a lot better. Been to Tesco and got a bottle of wine (luncheon vouchers) to have with X Factor and just going to chill out, got really upset earlier about the money issue :o I know I'm not as bad off as some people are but I just get so fed up of trying and not getting anywhere.

On the plus side, I only have one more Xmas present to buy :D most of it was bought by doing surveys, etc :D

We all know this feeling very well. I have some Tia Maria in so I shall join you in X Factor.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I like how everyone on this part of the site is so nice, post anywhere else and I'd have had at least 2 arguments by now ;)

Have a think about doing some charity work, it's a great way of building a circle of friends, boosting your confidence, and mixing with people who have a similar interest to yourself.

Doing voluntary work is a great plus on any CV and the list is endless of charities crying out for volunteers.
