Yes definately Thanatos, areally useful and informative input to the forum.:T:T:T

Me too for Thanatos -they are doing a fantastic job and putting things into a simple way that makes things so much clearer than the official language that puts people off claiming

  • Mum of 4 is still showing a great, unselfish community spirit in sharing her garden plans. All other nominees are worthy as well, however Mum of 4 gets my nomination. She reminds me of an 'old-timey' era I've only read about - neighbours assisting neighbours to help them sustain themselves with their own food production. She is a busy mum but spends a lot of time monitoring her messages and sending out her plans to hundreds of us. And worked it out in MS Word as well for those that don't have Excel!

Another vote for Thanatos. His input on that thread has addressed some of my fears about my claim as well. And he's doing it all in his spare time, not from work.

I'd also like to nominate Cheeky Chicken for her post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=15655923&postcount=2600

She does this sort of thing often and has helped loads of us through some really hard times. But this one post was so special and so thoughtful it reduced loads of us to tears.
  • Another vote for Thanatos

He puts things in such a clear way.
All in his own time, every day!
    He's friendly, approachable,really wise.
The DWP should give him a pay rise!

Another nomination for Cheeky Chicken - I don't even have pets and t still reduced me to tears and made me think about what I've got!!

This post by Cheeky Chicken moved me to tears also. It not only gave great support to the board member who had lost their dear pet, but touched many others not only with it's words but with the degree of empathy and kindness members show to others in their times of need. I have been helped through many dark days and know I can really depend on my MSE friends.
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!

Another vote for Thanatos, the time, care and kindness he has shown has really restored my faith in human nature (and confirms that the DLA DMs are human after all!!!)
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.
  • I'd like to vote for Thanatos too - I can't believe how much of his (her?) time is being spent helping out all these people, and in his/her own time too!
    :T

I notice he's just posted yet another helpful response, at 10.43 PM. Talk about a busman's holiday. Go to bed Thanatos! You need some rest!!!!!
