Urgent question about visiting USA

I would look into it, if you are asked and lie then it could stop you ever being allowed into the country.
see this link I found on a quick search: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Travel/Question285934.html
No point! Come on, a police caution for possession of a pellet gun, 10 years ago?:rotfl:
It's not going to show up anywhere, it's not a risk to anyone, and it's not worth declaring to US officials and preventing enjoyment of the US visa waiver programme.0 -

Steph - the US would never know about this. They have no access to UK criminal records, even if your OH still had one (and he doesn't). Seriously, forget it ever happened. Enjoy your hol.0 -

Hi
I am a travel agent and get asked this kind of question all the time. I would contact the US Embassy in London, the US regulations are very strict an it would be better to check before, rather than booking flights etc and then being refused entry
Hope this helps!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Thankyou!
I guess we just let anyone into our country

If you do multiple trips within the two year period you will need to update the authorisation online for each visit if you are going to be staying at a different hotel or address from your previous visit.Once obtained, this permission is good for two years or whenever your passport runs out, whichever is sooner.
Also, be aware that while you can use the website right now to register, you still need to complete and present the green visa waiver form at US immigration.0 -
What he did was probably legal in the US where gun regulations are usually very much less strict than here - don't worry about it.0
