Urgent question about visiting USA

Hey.
This is very short notice but I have a question to ask you veterans out there.
I went to America 5 months ago on holiday to visit some friends, and when I was on the flight I was given a green slip of paper which I guess was some kind of temporary visa of some kind? I filled it out and gave it over to the customs fellow in the US and everything was grand.
I'm again going to the US on Sunday morning and am wondering if I will get this same little green card to fill out to let me stay in the US for a few weeks on holiday?
Thanks for reading.

Until or unless you get a US visa you will get a green form (for a visa waiver) EVERY time you go to the US.
Be aware (seach elsewhere on these boards) that you will need from 1 Jan 09 to presupply some info to the US if you wish to use the visa waiver scheme.0 -
You will, but it is being phased out. The new system requires you to register on their website before travelling where (hopefully) you will be given permission to travel. Once obtained, this permission is good for two years or whenever your passport runs out, whichever is sooner. Both the little green card for each trip and the website registration are being run at the moment, but the little green card will be a gonner next January.

Have a good trip.0 -
You previously entered under the Visa Waiver Programme.

Providing you still meet the criteria you will be fine (but it might have been an idea to have established this before now, as if you no longer meet the criteria then AFAIK you won't have enough time to obtain a Visa).0 -

quick question for you all hopefully one of you will be able to answer,
When my OH was young and very stupid he somehow had a mad idea to make a pellet gun the police found out and he got a record for it. It was about 10 years ago now will he still be allowed into the US??
Many thanks

I would look into it, if you are asked and lie then it could stop you ever being allowed into the country.
