mum went in today @ Tesco Batley, and was told that the cheapest they sell is £29.99 - she was hassling the guy in electronics for lots of stuff tho!
 if you want a job doing properly.......:D0 -
The battery supplied is an ordinary zinc chloride. You should really use alkaline batteries or Nimh rechargeables. The latter can cost a pound or more and require a charger, but in the long run will be cheaper.
Last week Currys had some budget (white box) rechargeables with charger for £9.99 and had 4x 2000mah AA and 4x 700 mah AAA, but I suspect they will have gone by now.ac's lovechild0 -
Finally tracked one down and now need to know where I get a deal on downloading music from the net!
Legal of course!
I've checked many sites from "Google" and forums and am worried to death as many state some are full of viruses and problems!
Looked at Tesco but 79p a track seems expensive to me!
Can anyone point me in the right direction and post good site they have used.
Many thanks.COMPERKING

There are many sites around but at the moment they are all almost as expensive as buying the whole CD which seems daft to me.
Don't forget you can rip your own CD's into mp3 or .wma to transfer onto your mp3 player.0 -
Still havent managed to track one of these down in my area. weston-super-mare

Don't ask me about tech. specs. I just know I have a six (yes, that's right a SIX) year old who's desperate for one for Christmas - figured as it would probably end up being used as a bath toy it would do him just fine :snow_laug
Duly went to Tesco Holmbush (Brighton) at 9 on Tuesday morning and got not only two of these but also Dalek at £19.97 and two digital cameras!
(think I may hav enow overdone the kids a bit, husband is starting to look pensive...)
Many many thanks!0 -
I got 2 of these in Bangor NI on Wed. Still had quite a few down by the TVs and videos - phone 1st to be safe.
Slightly of topic - sorry, but what about those digital cameras for £39.95? Anyone get and tried one yet? Are they worth the money? Are they any good? There is bound to be a thread about them - I did a search and cannot find anything! Sorry!0 -
Anyone know of any free MP3s around? From people that I might have heard of?!0

Which magazine recommends a site called www.allofmp3.com
Quite reasonable.
