How about some free legal mp3's to download onto your new mp3 player?

AMAZON have a few you can download as log as you've got an account with them.

The Madness one is rather catchy :)

Went into my local Tesco and the shelf was empty, asked the woman and she brought out 3 more boxes so I purchased 5 of them for friends and family.

When I had a play with these, I fell in love, everything about these players makes me more and more amazed that they only cost me £10. The amount of features it has amazed me! What a bargain.

Massive thanks to OP, has my vote for post of the month!

From what I read on The DVD forums, I think the battery supplied with it is pretty poor - have you tried a replacement yet?
  • Have loads in the warehouse in 'Mickelover' branch at Derby.
Staff told me that they weren't supposed to be on the shelves untill Saturday, when the Sale starts.
Quite happy to fetch me some though, when I asked...!!

Would it be possible to use it a usb memory drive to store and transfer other files?

Yep, you can. It shows up as a mass storage device in My Computer. Just use it as you would a normal usb memory drive. If you plan on putting both data files and mp3 files on it, make a separate folder for the data stuff.
