selling your stuff on Amazon...part 2

I'd ask for B - then go back to ask for another swap on A later0

Thankyou for my swapsie AT!!! Yours should arrive tomorrow as OH is trained now to send swapsies Second Class (perhaps I'm the tight one on here!!!).
I have now received my book from francesca so all is forgiven!!!
Got to train OH in the actual art of listing on Amazon next so he can take over when I start my new job!!!Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
Zoe - I keep trying to remember to send them 2nd class but they often end up being bundled with the 1sts for amazon0

on another note about readitswapit - does anyone else feel slightly guilty for selling them on amazon? I got one, read it and listed it and now its sold (for about a tenner) but i do feel a twinge of guilt over this
i dont think id ever make a proper business out of thisSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
This is where I sound really hard - no - I don't feel guilty, the swaps are not forced, everyone can refuse to swap anything with anyone and all the users on the swaps site have access to Amazon if they had wanted to use it to sell their book.0

thats what i keep telling myself - i have sold it now after allSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0

Well seabiscuit, at least you DID read it which is more than I ever do!!!
In effect YOU are sourcing the book for a person that wants it (you just don't know who they are yet) just like a professional book dealer...and you are paying for the book with another book. At least you are not going out and STEALING IT!!!!!!!!!Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
I have not actively gone out of my way to ask people to swap with me (too lazy to look through the "library"!!!) and have just put a good selection of books on so THEY approach ME!!!!!!!!
(TBH the couple I have asked for have been rejected anyway)
I think I'm getting a little obsessed about swapsies now though.
And up to press have only sold one thing on GM so maybe will pack that in soon.Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -

I do too.
Received my very first swap today in exchange for a penny book that cost me 80p to post. The book I received was a heavy hardback that cost nearly a fiver to send to me and it's worth a tenner on amazon. I do almost feel like I've stolen it!!
What's more the person who swapped with me could have bought my book off amazon for £2.76.
People just amaze me sometimes!!0 -
re swapsies - I think that if there was a way to email other members I would have contacted a few and suggested that they should sell their book on amazon rather than swap it (and to come on here for help if they needed it
) as we all know there is not much difference in the listing and posting. I have seen books up for swaps that have prices of over £20 on amazon.
