I have an old Pace sky+ box, and have stuck the IR remote sensor at the front, middle, just beneath the power button, and above the slot.0 -

That's the same Sky+ box I have. I'll try that tomorrow.0 -

That has worked perfectly. Thanks very much for the tip!
You saved a lot of frustration and it being returned.

Set a set up up for folks for Xmas. It all worked very well first time and a couple of remotes worked first time too - eg a NTL (blue coloured) Digital remote controller. (Well picture worked 2nd time actually once I plugged the YELLOW into YELLOW and RED into etc etc etc etc - durh - but not blaming the equipment for that - it was Xmas lunch's fault!)
AND can confirm the Tx SCART gizmo works even when it is the ONLY SCART device in a SCART socket - eg plugged it into the NTL Digital box's VCR socket that was spare (ie doesn't need a cable/load to be applied to its output to get it working).
Picture quality very good in next room - though couple of horizontal lines popped up every now and then (that went if/when you stood in certain position while trying to set the aerial angle best - needs some more time spent optimising angles).
VERY happy with the purchase. (And the BLACK one is called ANTHRACITE on the Warranty card in case you're confused.)0 -
Went to Aldi's on the 29th but they had none left, so went to Argos and got one for "35, so not too bad.
Is anyone using theres with Sky+ as being able to watch two different channels at once on different tv's?
Thanks0 -
You can't get two channels out of a Sky+ box at the same time. It may have two tuners, to record two channels at once or record one and watch another, but it only has one decoder so it can only output one decoded (watchable) signal at a time. Apart from that there is no way to route one signal to one Scart and another to the other or to the RF output. The only way to watch two Sky broadcasts at once is with two boxes.0

PLEASE HELP
I can not figure this out.
I have got the wires/leads in the following places
TX
The Red, White & Yellow Wires from the sender go into the RWY female leads on the double scart adaptor. The scart from my Sky box is also plugged into the double scart adaptor and then into my TV.
RX
The RWY wires go straight into the RX Scart and then into my TV.
I have not connected the aerial to the Sender.
I have a portable aerial and a Video as well.
The leads normally go from the portable aerial to the video ad then from the video to the TV.
Please help me out on this one.
Hopefully I have made a simple mistake.
